Nothing in case of the Compressor, so "null". The NBT Field is just a generic Meta Value some Recipes have (Massfab Amplifier). The API tells you if you have to put something other than null into it.

That behavior only works if the Side you click on has no full Block face. Already Covered Sides and full Machines are not working like that. Only Pipes.

Note that you can/must set the pipe+cover up somewhere else, wrench it up and put it to it's final position as you generally have the container down before piping.
Double Note, that you can place Covers also in a similar fashion as wrenching Sides, what also applies to Screw drivering.

In theory you can set certain values so you can determine the exact amount of any ore.
Example :1 for coal
100 for iron
10000 for gold
1000000 for diamond
100000000 for ...Just add two zeros for each ore and you will end up with 00 00 00 00 00 00 ... value, with every two numbers being the amount of an ore, up to 99.
Unfortunately you probably can't go over 1 000 000 000 or it may integer overflow (code).
If this happens, just set the most important ones in the scanner, from 1000, and everything else set to 1. {so your miner can still dig all the ores}And here is why I won't fix it. Thanks for explaining it SpwnX.

Unless the Mod itself sets the Valuability of the Ore, then it will overwrite the Config. And setting the Scanners to make a +100 for one Ore is pretty overpowered.

I am not an AE expert, but shouldnt the ME Cable be connected to, lets say, the ME Controller? I would disrecommend the usage of Glass Fiber. That Cable could either be removed, or nerfed, or changed in another Way.

Yes, you can put Drain Covers at the Side of Pipes to fill them with adjacent infinite Water, unless you disabled infinite Water like I did, using CodeChickenCore.
