This time I changed torchweed(made the top more torch-like) and flax(it's recolored wheat now) and I fixed the applebush(the reflection was on the worng side on two apples) and the red mushroom(a point was transparent instead of light gray).
By the way, my name is I don't now, not I Don't Know. But thanks for mentioning me as the discoverer of the applebush!

-snip- but I must add, isn't this technically a crop-card collection? Meaning it should go in that part of the forum?
No, as it adds charcoal stuff too. -
+++BREAKING NEWS+++
Scientists discovered a swarm of asteroids coming near Mincraftia. Should they be attracted by the gravitation of our planet and not be destoyed by the atmosphere or technology, extreme devastation in the areas of the impact, stronger than the most destructive meltdown of a reactor of the Chernobyl II type, should be expected. Rumors that the asteroids contain iridium are not confirmed.
A few weeks later+++NEWS+++
...57 people were killed in the latest impact.
Scientists discovered a way to refine the extraminecraftial iridium into a usable form by combining it with artificial matter and exposing it to neutron radiation in a nuclear reactor. The iridium prices are dropping quickly.
The world record in Creeper Killing was broken by...Summary: If asteroid impacts get added and if asteroids contain iridium, impacts should cause explosions that are larger that the explosions of six-chamber-reactors filled with uranium cells, but there should be a way to destroy asteroids before impact. Rarely you can find unpure iridium in a crater. If you combine it with some UUM and put it in a cell (Maybe 4 UUM, a piece of unpure iridium and a cell) you can "breed" it in a reactor to get an iridium cell which can be used instead of iridium ore.

I changed a few sprites. Not all, just a few. Feel free to use them for this addon. The texture next to the charcoal brick item is for the charcoal brick block. I changed the charcoal briquette, the charcoal brick, the apple bush and the mushrooms. Well, and the purple thing next to the charcoal brick.

On one of my testworlds, I tried what happened when drinking coffee. That was boring. So I just increased the amount of coffee. And the FOV in the options. Then the world was upside down. Literally. Just look at it yourself. (By the way, if you drink too much coffee, you get hurt and the nausea potion effect.)
Over 30 minutes of speed and haste. The language pack I'm using is my own. The texture pack too.
Here I'm between two hills. Yes, the sky is on the bottom of the picture. I did not rotate it or something.
Here you can see it better. Bottom: sky, top: sea.
Underwater it's normal. Nearly.
I'm not flying. I'm standing inside that tall grass. -
You still haven't explained to me why HV is better than EV. Mind doing that?
I suppose it's because glass fibre cables can't transport EV, only HV or lower. -
That could only be done if you make the cells unstackable or if you add a new slot to the machines which use the cells.

FINALLY version 1.2 for IndustrialCraft² 1.95b uploaded!
-snip-
I was working on adding proper localization to GUIs for the next patch, and when I tried this with the changes I made, I died a little bit inside. Is it possible to add an extra section for names displayed in GUIs to the .lang-file? I suggested that quite some time ago.
EDIT: Uploaded vanilla-pack for 1.2.5.
-
When I wanted to update my IC²-language pack, I noticed it was in the config-folder already, with the proper name, but it didn't change the IC²-names. To check if it was a bug or my fault, I installed the most recent IC² language pack I found and installed it. It worked, so I checked my IC2.lang file. For some reason it wasn't updated automatically, so I did manually by copy-pasting the missing lines from the vanilla-IC2.lang. That didn't work too. So I'm posting here. My IC2.lang file is attached.
Thanks for reading!
PS: If it was asked already, sorry. I searched for "lang", but it showed me 1000 posts, probably because of all the java.lang-errors. So I used Ctrl-F on every page of the whole Support- and Bug-sections without finding anything useful.
EDIT: Tried to manually copy-paste the names into the IC2.lang. Didn't work too. I suppose it has something to do with the problem RichardG posted in my language-pack-thread.
EDIT2: The theory in my first edit is wrong. Now I'm adding back name by name to find out what's the problem.
EDIT3: Done with testing. No problem detected. -
You didn't give me time to finish my other post with the molten electrolyzer, where you can turn lava into metal and glass.
That doesn't change the amount of purposes for the lava maker.
-
A machine for only one purpose? It's very unlikely that this will make it into the mod.
-
In the shown design uranium cells are taken out of the reactor for cooling, or better non-heating, so the output does fluctuate.
-
I suppose gigagames wants a device which outputs redstone power when a certain number of EU/t is reached. Not heat. Not something what shows how much EU/t a reactor will output. Just a cable-like device outputting redstone power when enough EU/t are flowing through it. I think.

What's the base chance of implementing copper crops and/or tin crops per update?
-
I noticed that you wrote "1 dust -> Stone/Electric Furnace = 1 ore" instead of "1 dust -> Stone/Electric Furnace = 1 ingot". Did you try to macerate an ingot or the ore ? I don't want to offend you or something, but that's the only explanation I can think of.
-
I have the same problem. The simple solution is getting a vanilla minecraft.jar.

Hello potential customer! Today I present you some frikkin additions to your machines!
Did you wonder why your Compress-O-Matic C77™ can't compress your Coalballs and Coalchunks anymore? Well, there was a small... accident in our lab which caused a small global change of the laws of physics. But don't fear, using the Heat-O-Tron F-39 in your C77's upgrade slot, you can still make some frikkin industrial diamonds! HI-JOE! There may be some other uses for the F-39, but the guys in the lab are currentlytrying to contain the accidentally created singularitydoing something else than finding out that other uses. Buy a F-39 NOW for just 9.95 and five million credits shipping costs or just craft one... But we HIGHLY recommend you to just buy it. Well, here's the blueprint( =nothing):
Of course, a device that heats an object enough to create diamonds is pretty energy hungry, so the F-39 will increase the energy use and processing time of the C77extremelyslightly. Because of federal regulations, you can use the F-39 only in the C77 and nowhere else. But with this little gadget, you can turn your coal into FRIKKIN DIAMONDS! HI-JOE!But of course, that's not all. Your Maceratron-E-901™ still uses flint and cobbles to crush your ores? Stop wasting time cause of that! Use the E-400 Diamond Crusher to decrease the maceration time and to increase the number of macerateable materials and the length of your electricity bills! HI-JOE! Buy it now for just 29.95 and the shipping costs of five million credits and get a free cubic meter of copper ore! Or just craft it using the following blueprint:
WIth it in your E-901, you can even macerate... err... very hard materials like... err... cobblestone! HI-JOE! Joe, don't tell them they are able to crush cobblestone without the E-400! Of course, you can place the E-400 only in the E-901 and absolutely nowhere else. Don't even try to place it somewhere else. It won't work. But how to get all the needed diamonds you ask? Get them out of scrap! And no, the chance to get scrap is not too low, at least not if you use the R-30 Waste Grinding Device! It
slightlygreatly increases the chance to get scrap out of materials! Of course, the process requires additional time and energy... But you get MORE FRIKKIN SCRAP! HI-JOE! And it just costs as much as the F-39! Or you could use the blueprint, if you really want to do it the boring way( =dirt, =glowstone dust):
Of course, you can only use it in the R-44 Recycler and nowhere else.We are proud to be able to present the frikkin T64-S Solar Panel Enhancement Unit today. Using ultra-sensitive solar panels and hightech energy storage technologies, we were able to construct an upgrade module which grants a permanent flow of ONE FRIKKIN EU/t when attached to a T64 Solar Panel RE Battery Generator™! It collects extra EU during sunny days and saves them for nights and rain showers. Of course, such technologies react extremely sensitive to dust and similiar stuff, so you have to clean them regularly, otherwise they fully stop the generation of energy by the solar panel they are attached to. Buy one for just 19.95 and the shipping costs of only 4 999 999.99 credits or craft it using the following blueprint( =T500-Rechargeable Energy Storation Unit™):
To clean it, just craft a dirty T64-S with a bucket or cell of water and it's clean again! HI-JOE! You can only attach it to the T64 and nowhere else.If you buy all of these shiny little devices and pay ten million credits service fee, shipping costs are FREE!
Thanks for reading!
PS: Because of the mentioned lab accident, it could be impossible to craft and/or use the presented devices in the manner shown above.
PPS: These devices are just examples of what could be done with the basic principle I wanted to suggest:an upgrade module which can only be used in one machine, for example the upgrade for the macerator can not be used in the compressor, but the upgrade for the compressor can only be used in the compressor and nowhere else. That is what I mean with "Machine Specific Upgrades".
PPPS: If you have more ideas for machine specific upgrades, feel free to suggest them in this thread.
PPPPS: Yes, I use "HI-JOE!" instead of "HAYO!". I don't want to wear it out. (Did I use that correctly?)
PPPPPS: Does anyone have a copy of the old IC1 Minecraftforum Opening Post? If yes, could that person send it to me? Thanks in advance. -

(Though it can't reach the level of stuff like Mo's creature mod or SDK-guns yet... but hey, it's a firstie ^^)

What happens to ores/wood/other blocks you can smelt in a furnace when you shoot at them using the super-heated mode?
-
It doesn't work. I tried the metal dusts, coal dust, hydrated coal dust, scrap, UUM and a few vanilla dusts.
