Posts by I don't now

    In this language pack, I changed all the changeable block and item names in IC² to (mostly) longer and more HAYOish names. People who read the Opening Post of IndustrialCraft(1) at the Minecraftforums may be familiar with some of the "new" names, for example with the "Dejuicer-Device of Doom - D123" (Extractor). Most of the names were made by me, for example the "UltraCoil(TM) T-700 Automated Lifeform Destruction Unit OF DOOM!!!" (Tesla Coil). A few were found in the IC² forums or wiki, for example the "C-600 capsule cell container" (cell).
    Installation:

    • ONLY IC² PACK:

    • MC AND IC² PACK

      • Download "I don't now's HI-JOE MC+IC2 Language Pack 1.4 [MC 1.5.2][IC2 1.115.348-lf].zip" (That's a link)
      • You probably already deleted the vanilla META-INF folder, you don't have to do this again. Place the "lang" folder from the downloaded zip-file in your minecraft.jar! This will replace one file from base minecraft that might be used by other language packs!
      • Place the "ic2" folder from the downloaded zip-file in your IndustrialCraft² jar file.
      • Start up minecraft and change the language to "HAYO (IC)"

    HI-JOE!

    If there are any mistakes, please let me know. I'll fix them as soon as possible.

    Name:
    Possibility to turn industrial diamonds into "real" diamonds (like the ones you can find underground)

    Description:
    Okay. Now you have many not-so-shiny industrial diamonds. But what to do with them? You already have more energy/lapotron crystals than you could ever need and all your industrial diamond-equipment, but you still need diamonds for other mods. What to do now? Correct! Just remove the industrial diamond's impurities! HI-JOE! Yes, I use HI-JOE instead of HAYO! "But how to do this?" you may ask. It's easy! Just put your industrial diamond into your Maceratron-E-901 and wait until it turns it into unpure diamond dust. Just add a bit lava to the unpure diamond dust and put it in one of our C-600 capsule cell containers, and the lava will burn all the impurities! HI-JOE! But how to get the diamond dust out of the lava? Just use our Dejuicer-Device of Doom - D123 and you'll get some nice diamond dust! But how to turn the dust into a diamond? Just compress it with our Compress-O-Matic C77! HI-JOE!

    If this has been asked before please forgive me. I was wondering if it is possible to use the targeting data from the range finder and automatically input it into the Missiles instead of having to do it manually in increments of 5. I have small targets that must be hit or disaster will ensue. Is this a current or future feature? If not it should be one way or another.

    Leftclick a missile/rocket with a laser rangefinder directly after you measured the distance.

    You know this problem: You go monster hunting, wear a pumpkin so these unbannable griefers called endermen don't follow you and your nano suit. You come near a skeleton and... Minecraft has crashed. You hate that? If the answer to this question is yes, then look at this brand new feature of our quatented Yes, that's right, it's not patented, it's quantum-patented, shortened quatented! HI-JOE! Quantum Helmet! Using brand-new Anti-Ender 2.0 technology it creates a microscopic black hole which sucks up the light reflected by your eyes so the endermen don't see that you look at them! HI-JOE! This results in 90% less attacking enderman! We take no responsibility for endermen attacking you because of attacking them.

    The boring part: I want the quantum helmet to have the ability to protect you from being attacked by endermen cause you looked at them. @People who can lock/archive threads on this forum and know if baseclass modifications are ned or it takes very long time to code this: If baseclass modicification was required or if it would take too long time (or both) just post it and lock/archive the thread.

    Today is 11/11/11! That's great! I'll install the fireworks mod and make a giant 11/11/11 with the firework blocks and then I'll fire the fireworks! What will you do?
    Or I'll make a giant 11/11/11 made of nukes...

    so should i just wipe it clean and reinstall ModloaderMP and minecraftforge?

    If you only installed Modlaoder (into the minecraft.jar) and IC² (into the mods folder) yet you don't have to wipe it clean, just install ModloaderMP and MinecraftForge (both into the minecraft.jar).

    And do i need modloader and modloaderMP or just modloaderMP?

    You need Modloader AND ModloaderMP AND MinecraftForge.

    BB1 = tier 1 storage (Batbox)
    BB2 = tier 2 storage (MFE)
    BB3 = tier 3 storage (MFS unit)

    If I understand correctly, you want to rename all the energy storage blocks into BatBox1/2/3? Or did I missunderstand something?

    By the way, the name MFSU (Multi-Functional Storage Unit) doesn't seem right to me. It would fit better as a fancy name for the chest I think. The MFSU should be renamed to MFESU so it's 100% clear it stores electricity. The only problem would be it's similiar to MFE... Ah, that's the solution: rename MFE to MFESU (MFE Storage Unit) or MFEU (MFE Unit) and the MFSU to Lapotron Power Storage Unit (LPSU)!

    Name:
    Renaming the MFE to MFE-Transmitter or MFE-SU or something similiar

    Describtion:
    I've got a little suggestion: To rename the MFE to MFE Transmitter. Why? MFE means Multi-Functional Electric. So it has to be MFE Transmitter like in IC, or MFE-SU for Multi-Functional Electric Storage Unit (MFE-SU is maybe a bad idea, it could easily be mistaken for MFSU) or anything that makes sense.
