+1 Seriously though, I think it would be really cool to have side-grade type armor. I don't like "Clear" choices (As in, there is one choice that is clearly superior) and wish there were more specialized products.

Downside of solar is space, which is what I believe Crafter was trying to say *Ahem*. If you get 512 blocks in one, with no wiring or other requirements, it's not the same balance level as a regular solar array.

It's a virus. I got it too, on my old PC, and it was annoying as shit to get rid of. Had to full-override onto it's files and force-move them onto a thumb drive which I then wiped on my Mac. I'm sure a force delete would have worked too, but it was regenerating if you deleted certain parts, meaning i'd need to delete them all at once.

(Ontopic) About this idea, I really don't give a shit either way. While requiring variation might be cool, it could also be annoying. With the buttons example, it's still ridiculously easy to do that, and it would create problems for people with automation mods, seeing as how there is only one input slot...

The thing is, why wouldn't I just brew a potion if the suit doesn't give me any extra effects? I can get 24 minutes of invisibility from a carrot and some gold, and having some benefits to the suit would be nice. Of course, there needs to be SOME way to detect them, like Goggles or a invisibility checker-type-thing that sets anyone invisible that passes over it on fire? Maybe?

On tools, it would be the "Upgrade" of the suit. If we say the suit is between Nano and Quantum, the tools should be slightly harder than Quantum to craft. This adds an "Upgrade" that is independent of the base component. (Basically, it's an indirect upgrade.)
