I have a simular issue. In my case the cables don't disconnect, but the energy just stops flowing until i break and replace one of the cables. In my 1.11.2 world this caused my fluid reactor to explode frequently because stirling generators EU buffer filled up and stopped accepting heat. Now in 1.12.2 it happened again with my kinetic generators.
