As long as you don't try using the newly added machines and not add too many energy-emitters to network you'll be fine.

Add multiblock raintanks which collect "rainwater" and make only THAT water pumpable in the watermill.
Problem is it takes hundreds if not thousands of square kilometers of land area to feed a single river enough to make sense to dam it and tap for energy. -
latest NEI and experimental IC2 work quite well together
-
Pretty sure there are no downloads for RV14 yet

I can be a modder if needed. I live in gmt +2 and are online a lot
I have some experience from being admin on (now dead) shadowpriest.com for a few years.

It's "elementary", not "elementar"

Uhh, isn't 2 seconds per block slower than miner with iron drill?
I'd say the thing costs so much that non-OC'd speed at 2 blocks per second is good enough. Just limit the overclockers to 5 and you'll be quite close to block per tick at max speed.
-
Damage will ingore armor.
Add an item that can absorb parts of the damage.
-
Well, having about 500 EU per block with zero OC and assuming one OC = 2x speed/4x power usage you'd get to 4k EU/block with just 3 overclockers, 4 would have it at 8k. Looks good to me
-
Currently, 256 EU/t and + 20 EU/t debuff. Takes two ticks to mine a block.
Therefore, (256 + 20) * 2 = 552 EU Per block.
Debuff? If this is the non-overclocked version then it's almost certainly too fast unless you plan on severely limiting how much one can OC it. Something 8 or 10 ticks per block with no overclocking and 1-2 at maximum speed would be nice I think.Though you should probably not use similar overclockers as GT/IC2 but have different tiers of them similarly to GT blast furnace. If each overclocker lowers speed by 2x then it seems like too good. Perhaps instead have each overclocking upgrade* lower ticks-per-block by just one, not cut it in half?
*) Regular IC2/GT ones are waaaay too cheap for a machine with that awesome power
-
You made my 3x3x1 useless Everybody will use yours drill because its cheaper.
Okay, i have no other choice. I'll make my drill 3x3x3
Ugh. You do realize you are basically trying to race to bottom except the bottom in this case is the most OP thing possible? -
My miner mines 32x32 in about half an hour. Is that okay or should it be faster?
Translate that into ticks per block/blocks per tick and I'll tell you. Though without knowing these numbers I'm almost certain it's WAY too fast for non-overclocked operation.
I read that a Max size quarry takes about an hour per level
That was aeons ago before quarry got a massive buff. Today if you feed the quarry with enough MJ it strips a level clear in a few minutes.
How much EU per block mined does it use?

Check the IC2 config to see if it's set to output steam.
-
experimental IC2 nearly doubled the amount of machines it has.
If you find GT too hard just look up some spotlight. It's far easier than you think. In fact it even nerfs a whole lot of things.
-
@fortune, there are mods out there that make getting the book relatively trivial. At least add config to disable it.
@chunkloading, should the mining pipe be constantly checked for block updates? That doesn't sound like a good idea. Making it infinite in length would be rather OP and bad idea in general.
-
Plz, don't make your Miner work with Enchants ... Because Fortune and Silktouch are the only thing that makes manual mining useful, especially assuming the IC2-like Miners mines mostly what you want already ...
Silk touch I could live with. Fortune, on the other hand, is WAY too OP even as a vanilla enchant on a random pick. -
@scrach, is it really that uncommon word in English?
-
And what is it?
I'm afraid if you don't have enough initiative to look up the meaning of a single word you will never have enough of it to learn modding and programming. Hell, I'd dare say you lack it to get by in life in general
or "hoho" could you help me?
Technically I'm certain I have enough knowledge to teach you programming. Problem is it doesn't interest me to teach others that are too lazy to even try learn themselves. If you start learning and run into some issues you can't solve using internet then sure, ask me, and I'll help as best as I can.
As for eclipse tutorials, I have no idea what they are but if they give at least basic knowledge about Java then they should be good enough.

BTW scool is starting soon and Notch is ...(let's don't say any bad words about him and the new laucher...
Considering he has had nothing to do with MC development for quite a while now I too can't see a reason why say anything bad about it. As for the new launcher, it's a step in right direction.
And WFT is scrath?
It's a typo for "scratch"

This is true. Programming in general isn't difficult. It's sort of like riding a bike - most can do it but rare few can do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZmJtYaUTa0
Basically anyone that can program can do "a mod" but it takes talent, time and effort to do something truly great.
