Is there a reason for not using railcraft?
Are Highlands biomes supported for GT ore spawns?

I already wrote it in the main thread but just in case I'll repeat it here too:
To my knowledge GT currently doesn't provide a way to pump fluids out of non-GT machines/blocks with the new pipes he added. For GT machines one can apply pump covers but things like RC tanks there is no way. I tried several things with covers and tesseracts but nothing seemed to work.
I suggest adding a new machine that would basically be an in-line pump that can extract from one side and output to all others. It should also use energy and be overclockable so that it could fill up several steel pipes if it has enough power and overclockers.

it even disallowed local commits? Weird, I've used git every day at work for almost 3 years and have never seen such problems.
Also, why are you including API files in .jar? There is no need for that and it can break things.
-
ah, well, that doesn't really say much without full terminal log
Have you tried pushing from command line? -
What error are you getting? I've used git (outside of github, though) and could possibly help.

Problem is, When you have mods like BoP and EBXL, you would have pages and pages of things some people may not even have. Although it could just have it in seperate sections after Vanilla stuff.
Only if you do it in a stupid way and have "biome X: list of ores" instead of "Ore X: list of biomes"Though, yeah, if greg continues to keep his books just a vanilla book that can't be updated and/or dynamically generated it'll be a bit problematic.

Hm, how frequently do you push code to github? I see you only have one branch with latest commit done 11 days ago. I'd like to get the latest unstable thing working with IC2 experimental

Americium could be used in a smoke detector, detecting fires and eventually extinguishes them (requires 100 mB of water for every fire extinguished). Useful on wood houses which can accidentally catch fire.
Imho much better would be to have the alarm simply activate RS signal and have different devices work on that (sprinkers, alarm, gas release, ...)

Expanding scrap production ? To me anything (but Vanilla) that products illimited scrap should be on the blacklist as well.
How do you produce scrap? Using redstone or other mined stuff? If so then just create additional mining machines and run them in parallel.
Also, first definition ever made of the exponential function:
A function f, that for each "a" and "y" will do f(X+a)=f(X)*y.I was talking about exponential growth
r and t can be any numbers.
[edit]
darn the transparent .png
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exponential_growth@e-net whine, I'm absolutely certain there will be ways to mimic current setups of having several X EU/t providers in a single network and not have things blow up. Technically it can be achieved even now with transformers/transformer upgrades.
-
You do realize that by expansion I meant also expanding scrap and energy production, right?
Also there are other exponential fun tions besides just the one you described. Their only difference is the rate of increase but they are all exponential
-
@Uum/qsuit
Once I habe half decent uu production up expansion gets exponential an doing from 1 to 100 uu will be about as fast as from 100 to 1000. It's exactly the same as with old EE2

Or plate+scissors or wire cutters, whatever they were called

Okay I liked IC2 the way it was. I don't give a damn it didn't update - there're addons for that.
Besides reworking e-net and removing the unneeded refined iron all it seems to do is add a whole lot of options. More options equals more ways addons can extend it.
Also, addons can't fix the old IC2 to work with NEI.Also, removal of packets will be an external pain in the ass
I'm quite certain the work on e-net is far from finished. Just wait.
change for base massfab energy demand was unneeded - there's GT for that
Alternative explanation is that the devs themselves considered it was far from balanced to go from punching wood to full quantum set in couple of evenings.
-
@explosion, it's a feature, not a bug. e-net is in the middle of reworking. Expect things to change in a major way.

Ironically enough, I just need to add 1 line of code to add experimental-compatibility, but I won't do that for now.If it's just one line how hard would it be to support both?
I for one have moved over to experimental long ago and don't plan on using the broken 401. I'm sure I'm not alone

Also, you're really really lucky that you found 10000 XP-book. It's a really rare occurance.
Really? Average I've seen has been around 8-10k. I've seen only one at <5k XP out of ~5-6.

It can add a few rather nasty mobs as well. Ogres smashing straight through your base isn't pleasant.
Though the two mods are way too different to be comparable
-
You could "donate" the cover system to ic2 unless it's a bitch to take over
-
The Packet system was "Fixed" it works nicer now, so i suggest the latest.
Just consider that ALL power providers are summed together to figure out the actual power in the cable/machine. No more 4+ 32 EU packets in copper cable!
