Not a bug. Still irritating though...

Does it HAVE to be 4 chambers?
Sometimes it's better to build several smaller reactors, for example this 2-chamber one:
http://test.vendaria.net/index…HCHCHCXXCXCXXXXXXXXXXXXXX2.33 eff, 0 heat
Only 35 EU/t, but it's cheap to build lots of themOr, you can use this
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CCCUHCCHCCCCHCCHCCCHCCCHC2.5 eff, 3 heat (Takes MANY consecutive cycles to overheat...)
50 eu/t, but since it's basically twice as expensive as the first one it's less resource efficient@ above: So ... little ... efficiency

No. If the 2nd MFSU isn't full, it will send 50% power to the MFSU and 50% power to the MassFab. If the 2nd MFSU IS full, then it will send 100% power to the MassFab.
Thought so. New wiring system isn't ALL messed up after all

Cooldown is a touch over one hour

Inb4 forcefield trap
-
Well, I think we can all agree pressure plates are meh. Makes irritating noise and can hardly be used for traps...
-
I've thought about it, but the logical effect of spending time in class on the laptop designing reactors is piling up
-
Feel free to use it, but if you claim you designed it a SWAT team will come and break your computer
-
If you place machines in a row, it will give all the energy required to the first one, then if theres enough energy the 2nd one will get energy and so on.
With that being said you can easily create an infrastructure where your main factory will get priority over your MF, without any userinput/maintenance.

(Other stuff)Give ALL power to the second MFSU as long as it's not full?

Al has been trying to implement electric minecarts for ages. Operative word "trying"
-
Hehe, this one has 1 less heat AND a free slot!

Edit: Maybe I should make my own thread, I'm apparently good at this!

These still don't work, the coolant cells around the uranium cells still overheat at 5 heat per tick. At that rate it 'pratically' needs to be surrounded by integrated dispersers.
Yeah I just noticed. Damn it, fever is messing with my mind
Edit: If this one doesn't work I'll eat my fedora
http://test.vendaria.net/index…HCCCCCCHCHCHCCCCHCCCHCCCHEdit2: Indeed, only 29 heat and WORKING
-
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CCCUUHCCHCHCHCCHCCCHCCCHC
This one should work, with only 29 heat / tick
Edit: Even better, only 28 heat!
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CCCUUCCHCUUCHCCHHCCHCCCHC
Edit2: Did I just fail again?
-
Really? Even this one? \/
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CCCCHCHHCCCCHCCHCCCHCCCHC
Edit: Ok too hot in here, forgot HDs only move 6 heat
-
But it works!
-
I accidentally 5 HDs
http://test.vendaria.net/index…CCCCHCHHCCCCHCCHCCCHCCCHC
I have too much free-time...
Edit: Cooldown only 65 minutes methink

I know two of my designs have already been pushed along into this thread (and I thank you for liking my designs enough!), but I think this newer one I made recently might fit the bill a bit better with the efficiency and not exploding very soon (but would eventually if given no cooling time):
Mark II-9.7C
I think I just managed to remove one HD from that setup!

I like Vendan's. It's pretty good.
Edit: So, question. Is a 'cycle' defined as one full usage of a uranium cell? I.e. if I'm going for a Mark II, it means I completely consume the cell without meltdown despite a positive heat/cooling ratio?Yup
-
The problem would be that without a mod that can easily create a *lot* of snowballs/ice, these ice-cool reactors pretty much requires TMI
-
Why can't we have a hard material that is *NOT* movable by pistons? It's a bit silly that any player with a sticky piston can break trough any wall just like that ...
Edit: I think breaking obby with anything but diamond takes about one minute
