The server and all clients need to be updated. And no, you don't lose your progress.

That version is horribly outdated. I think we fixed that bug already. Try updatiung your IC2 to the latest version.

This looks weird. Can you try to put more empty tin cans into the first slot and then try to put food into the second one?

Since I never really played with these mods: what would be balanced fuel values? (output and burn time)

Can you screenwshot the items in your reactor?

Does it happen on the first cycle or did you automate the reactor and it happened sometime later?

For some reason, the recipe doesn't get added to the game. I'll try finding out why that happens, but I'm not sure whether I'll succeed...
