It was redesigned a while ago to not require metal shoes anymore, but to take more time and draw more power, if it is used with non-metal-boots.

Someone once made a deobfuscator, that deobfuscates a obfuscated mod jar. I think, forge also allows you to generate the deobfuscated classes by launching the game with the mod in a dev env and set a forge generate transformer debug flag.

The power tier of all generators but reactors is fixed. For reactors, the power tier depends on the reactor layout.
If you supply a transformer with a coil meant for 5v with 100v, or even with what comes out of a power outlet irl, the coil's gonna melt.
If you wire up multiple of them in parallel and the wattage of the power supplying machine is high enough for the voltage not to drop, all of them will melt, so that wouldn't work either. -

Due to some technical limitation, the energy, that is shown in the eu reader always corresponds to the energy received on the receiving end, so if you have a batbox on the sending end, a couple of blocks of copper cables and a batbox on the receiving end, the eu reader will show 31EU/t (32 EU - 1 EU loss), no matter if you click on the sending or the receiving batbox, or on any cable.

Iirc, 30 Overclocker upgrades allows the recycler to process 64 items per tick.
If you want to have a high energy efficiency, it's better to have more recyclers with less upgrades.
It all depends on what you prefer.
I normally go for 4 recyclers and scale the upgrades depending on what scrap usage I have. However, this is most likely not the most efficient setup. -
The other reason, why you want 3x insulated cable is, because the less insulation you have on a cable, the more damage you will get, when you're standing next to the cable and there's energy going through.

You could directly output the power into a machine (like a massfab) with enough transformer uprgades in it.

IScrapboxManager: The idea with the recipe managers in general is to have the registrytion and the recipe lookups in the same place. Using IMCs for registration, but keeping the interface for recipe lookups would be quite unnatural.
IMetalArmor: that is probably something, where it would be good to have IMCs or some other kind of registry for.
ExplosionWhitelist: maybe.We may do that during the next MC update, but right now, it wouldn't be good to change the API to use IMCs instead. -
