Hi guys, me again.
i want to use solid CF for my nuclear power plant, but i cant mine tha solid foam. and i dont talk about reinforced stone, just the normal solid CF.
is it a bug or wanted that i cant mine it?

you can't have foam blocks in survival for reason (entire scaffording feature will go obsolete if you can place blocks anywhere and harvest)
did u mean that it would be a cheaper version to reinforced stone, cause RF stone needs iron scaffolding?
i dont think it would, cause this simple solid foam don't have the blast resistance that RF stone got. and if i would go for blast resistance, then i would use RF stone. but i want to use it for decoration.
i use RF stone for the reactor chamber itself and i'd like to use solid foam for the building around the chamber
i would use RF stone for the building and the security chamber, cause iron isn't the problem, but the minig time is.
Not a bug. Place down scaffolding where you want the foam to go (wooden for normal, iron for reinforced) and right click with a filled CF sprayer. Its more precise and quicker for building. You should also get the scaffolding back (the wooden at least)
i still cant mine it, but i know what u mean. thank u!
CF blocks (normal) are intended to be uncollectable.
It is not like you can simply harvest a concrete wall (with a pickaxe) and place it somewhere else.
That said, IMO, that should be the situation for the RF stone, but... whatever.
yeah, that would be a bit nicer, but keep in mind, if u couldn't collect RF stone, u couldn't make this crystal memory saver thingy, that needs 3 RF stone.
RF stone also shoud not be harvestable, only 3 recipes use it for no valid reason.
Reinforced stone can be broken and placed because it is reinforced >:D
As much valid, that is not aswell
i have another question.
i watched serveral vids and tried it by mayself for half an hour, but i can't figure out how the electrolyzer works. i know that it has to be placed directly to a power storage, but the water cells just don't get electrolyzed.

The storage block must have a certain % of energy filled before it transfers energy to the electrolyzer.
you are awesome! thank u!
So I've crafted a sprayer (and a CF backpack) and I have some CF powder... but I can't find a way to fill the pack or sprayer to use it. I thought it was via the canning machine but that doesn't seem to work.
I'm using MC 1.64 with Experimental 2.20.301.

You have to use the canning machine liquid enrichment mode, with water in the left tank (pump in with pipes or rightclick the canning machine with water-filled universal cells) and CF powder in the middle. You will get liquid CF in the right, which can be transferred to another canning machine (through pipes or liquid ejector) then it can be used to fill sprayers and backpacks through the filling mode.

And do note it is the 4 EU/t canning machine, not the one split into bottler & canner.
Thanks - I found a video someone linked here that explained it, so I figured out how to do it all within one canner.
