    ChemCraft

    Things to Add:

    Display Spoiler

-All useful elements from the periodic table
-Chemical Extractor* (Produces up to 5 unique elements (up to 16 of each, max 64 total) from one normal ore/sand/dirt/cobble/leaves/wood/etc.) (consumes block added)
-Chemical Testing Chamber* (Combine elements & chemicals to make more stuff!) (block used for Chemical Research Chamber)
-New Crafting Recipes for Circuits (would now include a recipe that includes using processed silicon)
-Chemical Factory* (uses EU and certain chemicals/elements to make Rubber & other items)
-Chemical Research Chamber (Discovers "Hidden" Recipes, researches elements) (In world, build by placing 25 Chemical Testing Chambers in a 3x3 Block, then placing the Chemical Research Chamber centered on one of the 4 sides)
-Chemically resistant pipes (When BuildCraft is installed)
-Chemical Macerator* (Macerates the ore and extracts the elements as the chemical extractor would)
-Mineral Ore (Ore that gives up to 32 of each element with a max of 128 in the Chemical Extractor) [Idea from SpwnX Idea: Chemcraft Addon] (?Random Textures Possiblity?) (May poison/radiate when mined/touched, unless wearing nano/quantum armor.)
-Particle Accelerator* [Idea: Chemcraft Addon] (Make experimental elements)
-~Atomic Pulverizer* [Idea: Chemcraft Addon] (Blast stuff into its individual elements, which are put in Test Tubes)
-Test Tube [Idea: Chemcraft Addon] (crafting recipe: 7 glass = 64 TT)
-~Elemental Extractor* (solid -> liquid -> gas) [Idea from King Gingerman IRL]
-~Elemental Compresor* (gas -> liquid -> solid) [Idea from King Gingerman IRL]
-Chemical Names (revealed in Blue when Chemical Research Chamber GUI is open) (Like in DartCraft ) (for example, next to Gold would be Au)
-Periodic Table of Discovered Elements (A map-like item, crafted using an electronic circuit surrounded by paper, that displays the periodic table and all Elements that you have researched in your Chemical Research Chamber)
    "*" Means it consumes EU
    "~" Means name under consideration
    And possibly More!

Adding all the elements of the periodic table is nice, however to do that it would be required to add a source of every single of them (and their respective uses on industry), overloading the world with ores (really), which wouldn't be a bad thing although. Some minerals are pretty btw.

Thats why I added the Chemically Rich ores, and the Chemical Extractor : To not add a ton of ores.

If it moves, shoot it, if it moves again... Show it Calculus.

Yea, but that doesnt make much sense :)
I would like if the world gen were overhauled to contain the vast majority of common minerals.

I'd have nothing against having half the periodic table in ores. Though world gen having the minerals in other forms likes trees or plants would be cooler than just ore

145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

Well, its not like everything in the periodic table can be found on the nature of course. Think of Astate and many other artificial elements.
A big overhaul of the worldgen would be required, not only the ores, but the stone layers aswell, like underground biomes.

That's why I said half the table :P
I have nothing against an overhaul of worldgen to add theoretically limitless new things

Stockpiling apparently useless things are nice, when you discover that they can be used for something nice later on.
Not to mention that we can always make blocks of them, so we can them use as decoration.

    eh sources?

    what about:
i just harvested 9999 different ores and dont know what to do with them all.
i just harvested 9999 different blocks that visually mostly same.
i just found stack of criptonite and there is no use for it.

i just pulverized tree into atoms and dont know what to do with halfchest of glass tubes containing random elements.

main issue is usage, there is completely no reason to add ore\element\tree\anything with only single usage, ever if you implement all possible elements and generate world with all ores, who will write recipes and crafting chains for all this?

how you going to use (RND.nextint) "Argon" or lets say "Platinum"?

also humanity not using every element on earth, many elements unstable, toxic or plain useless due cost or availability of alternatives with better stats.

That would be fun, to mine something apparently inoffensive to find out that it is either toxic or radioactive and it poisoned you and you would die within a few days (of MC, yes, die).

If you open every single element of the periodic table (not counting the artificial ones), there is at least one utility which can be explored.

I have changed to using just a machine to convert anything to elements. It will obviously work off of % chance, and some elements will only come from certain blocks.

I would love to have the entire periodic table in Minecraft, but only if they also have chemical reactions with each other like in RL.

we should make a list of all information of all the elements in the periodic table, that would help a lot if you are adding the whole Periodic table, it would also help finding uses for them.

wikipedia has the most common uses for each of them, that wouldn't be a problem.

    Coding it in, would.

Yes, that is the idea... This will be a really difficult addon to program. I'd do it if I knew how to code in java, but sadly I am only a freshman and have no knowledge of how to program in anything other that Lua (ComputerCraft)
