    The Society || Traincraft 3 is a server that aims to create a modernised version of the game. It's main focus is on train network using Traincraft & Railcraft mods. We are one of the only servers to provide this mod together with a whole bunch of other mods, also we are a minecraft 1.6.4 survival server, PvP is enabled but PvP without others permission it is not allowed! we are mostly a PvE server.


    Server uses a custom built modpack, biggest mods are: Traincraft, Industrialcraft, Buildcraft, Project Red, Mekanism. Full list can be seen here: http://forum.thesociety.eu/ind…i/mod-author-credit-page/


    On our server you can create your own company, with this company you can sell things your company makes and transport them by train to players who want to buy them, this can ofcourse be done for ingame money, with this money you can buy things from other companies and so on. Create a company, become rich, let your company grow and have alot of fun!


    Towns, you can start your own town (Towny plugin) and make this the homebase for your company, players can join your town and help growing it, or you can join a nation and work together with other towns!


    Our spawn: here you can buy/earn "spawnshops" to sell your goods at spawn.

    Do you do OpenTTD as well? Either way you like your trains and pretty things

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

    I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

    Server is SMP. Only the Spawn has been built in Creative (first Pictures in thread). Everything else is built by Players in survival without any cheats. Well at least if you dont Count the mekanism digital miner not as cheat ;). On our Website you can find some more screenshots. I will also post some more in a few days, showing further Progress of Gent Harbour.

    another push to the advertisment thread. As usual filled with new screenshots. Maybe i should tell you, the Screens i post here are only from one town, the one i build in. There is at least one more highly active town on Server, together with some other smaller towns with around 2-3 Players.

    just to tell you the latest News.


    First i fixed the broken Images.


    Second all the builds on the Images are gone. We decided to Change the map as we had lots of Problem with some biomes o plenty stuff. If you like to download them the whole map is available for download on http://www.thesociety.eu.


    3rd: We changed to a new map. Less Lag, Large Biomes, new Players. Check out now on http://www.thesociety.eu!

    We increased our server performance, we are now even more stable. Also works on our next generation modpack/server have begun.


    Also we again have some stable/active players and count keeps increasing.
