Add Step Assist to the Quantum Boots or Quantum Leggings

Good idea, +1 , and should be applied to boots, so they are like the boots of the travellers, and it will force people to craft both the Q boots and leggings, so if you want to have an efficient boost, you will need both of them

The boots already have super jump though, what's wrong with just bouncing about?

Not as fast as sprinting.

If you jump while sprinting, I'm pretty sure it's faster, especially up a hill.

That seriously depends. The hill will often reduce your speed as you collide with it. Now if its a hill of 1 block steep you can walk over it easily.

I wouldn't mind it only being active whilst sprinting.

A toggle key (IC² already have a few ones that could be used for that), while shifting or whatever would do it, i guess. I personally like step assist.
Just make it not be active while you're shifting (Like TC traveler boots).
