Yes GTNH has a heavy load even on a good gaming pc. Try to use Optifine D6 . How much ram you gave GTNH ? All 16 ?

The MV NAND chip is a pretty big deal. Oil's rather impractical until you can prospect for it, and the seismic prospector is fairly low tech EXCEPT that it requires data sticks to use. Those require a cleanroom and HV, which are much steeper requirements. A non-cleanroom MV alternate makes it possible to prospect for oil and ore much earlier.
We have quests where you get data sticks for you scanners. I wont to lower it to LV/MV that people can start with it.(Seismic prospectors)
And yes NAND chips are for these people who wont craft vacuum tube anymore in igh tier.

Can you please highlight in changelogs information, that could be important to know before update, like Breaking Changes? For me it is missing/removed blocks/items or changes in worlds/core mechanics (e.g. new ores or electricity). Otherwise, after each update I need to investigate which part of my factory got corrupted or which world I need to re-generate.
