Adding subobjects like drill blank, handle blank

  • I'm not sure if the names "drill blank" and "handle blank" are great but that's what they are called on the turning table page .
I would like to add those as items because I totally misunderstood the diamond drill recipe and tried crafting it with an iron turning BLANK because the recipe only mentions that it should be a drill in the tooltip on the diamond drill page.

How should I go about doing that (in case no-one objects).
Should I just re-upload the turning blank image with a different name?
Is there some sort of global item management or something else I should know about?

What are you trying to add, I can't see how it could be made any more obvious without confusing the matter by not using the in game names.

145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realise that what you read was not what I meant.

    I see this too much.

  • Well, basically I want the internal item state to be represented in the wiki. So that clicking on the "drill blank" in the diamond drill recipe will actually take the user to a "drill blank" object page telling them how to make one.

I think that would be the opposite of confusing. :)

Edit: Let's call it "fusing"! :D

Ahhh get what you mean now. Will do now.

Ahh yes, the fancy one. If you switch your graphics settings to fast it'll look the same as a normal iron turning blank.

You get a screenshot the biggest GUI size you can get (full size, large GUI on my screen gets 64x64 item images. You then crop it down to just the item then remove the background. It should be pretty easy as the background is all one shade of grey, but I can do it if you want.
