The favorite part is that strange hunger effect, it doesn't affect the rate at which the saturation goes down but forbid us to eat anything! How cool is this?
Can't you cure it? For example with a regular golden Apple, like you do with Villager Zombies?

There's a way to make something to cure it. But I fear what would happen is :
1. Get hit by zombie.
2. Get infected.
3. Try to search for a cure.
4. Die of starvation because you cannot feed while searching the cure.
5. Rinse and repeat.
When you get rich enough later, it'll just be annoying that you have to carry a bunch of antidotes on you but the difficulty will go from insane to none pretty quickly.
But if you get hit by a Zombie with this Modpack you are doomed anyways. These undeads are so hard that I would only go either with a Bow or with something that keeps me a safe distance (like a Fence inbetween or standing on a Wall) after them. Also a Golden Apple is easy to make with an Apple and 8 Nuggets.
Sure, not being able to eat anything is bad, but how about getting only a percentage of the Hunger from eating Stuff, so you need to eat more (gradually increasing for an MC Week) until the infection has fully hit you and you need to start eating Brains.
Sure, suicide would help curing the Stuff too if you think about that.
Suicide is the cure to all of MC's woes ;D
Who's broken the hammer btw? It doesn't work on almost all the ores. (The only one that worked was vanilla iron ore, from trader)

It is a mod for debugging purposes, you don't need it.
