Which is better Feed The Beast or Tekkit 7

    1. Feed The Beast (6) 86%
    2. Tekkit (1) 14%
    3. Both (0) 0%

The Tree Tap is Very plane and ugly right now,I though of a Techne model and saw that you can have something like this model that I have attached please use it in the next update to 1.7.10

Tip: It is crafted the same way but you place it like a block on the tree then to use it to right-click it which turns the handle and depending on the tree size you get a certain amount of Sticky Resin.

Models... I mean why not, I am not really a fan of them for Tools, but I am ok for armor, dunno... Experimental IC2 might include that as they already completely stopped being vanilla feel...

But wouldn't that drain all the stickResin from the Tree?

No because the tree is alive and would continually produce it

Placeable treetap? Isn't that getting a bit too close to what IHL does for sticky resin?

(personally, I don't have much interest in treetaps - I get my resin from stickreed instead)

I'm talking about this: [Addon for IC2V2][V0.557][MC1.7.2-1.7.10]IHL Tools & Machines

Also, I would advise caution regarding how close it gets to other mods, and carefully read the licenses to make sure your suggestion wouldn't violate them somewhere.

I mean instead of making a fluid Treetap you could place that next to a Extractor and then it generate really slow Sticky Resin if it has enough power. ^^"

why not breed sticky resin ? it comes from sugarcane and takes a little but its easier imho and that "mod" is not needed!

Just a little side-note: In your question you're want us to compare Tekkit, which is a modpack, and FTB, which is a team of people making modpacks. That's like comparing an apple with a banana.

    Check out my mods here.

Aroma he is talking about the tekkit launcher and will be called mostly Tekkit because its easier to remember... (Just ignore that fact) and behind the tekkit launcher stays also a team...

True ^^" And you can make it way faster then the Tree farm would ever be because it is based on TileEntity ticks instead of Random Ticks like the rubbertree is unless IC2 Exp did change that
