You could add an electronic chest wich uses some kind of SD-Card to store Items.
The chest itself can't store any items but if you put in a SD-Card it opens the usual chest-GUI.
If you take the SD-Card out of the slot, the GUI is gone and the items are stored on the Card wich can be put in any other e-chest!

Sounds a lot like AE. The closest we've got is the personal safe, but that can't be moved unless it's empty.
Or use a Better Barrels Dolly that should work too
Or use a normal chest like a real man 
Basic, simple, very handy. I don't see why people come up with "AE" copy since this would be quite useful on maps without applied energistics, and I find the idea of using SD cards interesting. Maybe Open computers or Computer craft could list the stored items stored in a SD card!
True but IC2 is all about industrialistation, and not all about science technology like AE.
