    Funny you should mention it, the beginning of what you want is already present. I'd recommend trying out the Mass Fabricator and UU-Assembly Bench on a recently new version of IC2 in creative.

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?
