Yes RP PR2 may be awesome, (and I have got it for SP) But not ebveryone wants to have 3+ mods running at the same time. A lot of people find it difficult to sort out the mechanics of the technology type mods. Personally I was turned off by the fact that it had ruby, emerald and saphire, and volcanoes were lagging me badly (I get max 30 FPS in vannila MC) as well people might not like the general theme and design of RP PR2 (I think multi modding madness is awesome but they dont all match)
those are reasons (maybe they are not "good") for not using RP PR2
Personally I am cautious with pre release stuff and dont want to try my luck with such things.

You've found a superior (free) way to use CASUC. It's still CASUC though, and thus you can't compare it to "old-school" reactors like these here

Like I haven't already seen it? If it's CASUC it plays by a different set of rules, and that's why you're supposed to put -CASUC at the end to avoid confusing it with a "normal" setup

Very cheap 2 eff 20 eu/tick. In terms of output/cost it beats other reactors easily except my CASUC reactor easily. Unless you want higher eff there is no reason to use other designs.

MK-II done. when i get my scrapbox factory fast enough I will go for your MK-5 CASUC Rick. Love the idea

Lots of legit reasons such as:

Not wanting to deal with rubberwood trees, blulectricity, and a dozen additional ores that conflict and/or simply reimplement IC2.
Not wanting to deal with volcanoes and other changes to biome generation.
Not wanting to have two different mods doing exactly the same thing, in incompatibly different ways (I will use BC over RP2 because I like stripmines)

I like Eloraam's mods. I use RP2 Core, Wiring, and Logic. I simply don't want to use World, which immediately rules out Machine, and I have no use for Array right now.

Eloraam just have to make machine not dependant on world. Btw ore problem is fixed with forge ore dictionary.

I made a slight change to the reactor by replacing one of the coolant cells with a heat dispenser, this seems to give me less warnings So I'd stick with that to make absolutely sure nothing burns.

It's dependent on world due to the use of additional ores. I highly doubt that's going to change.

And even with Ore Dictionary, my point still stands.
