stuck the game in hard mode and then made the helmet use more power by sitting at the bottom of the ocean for ages until it depleated... only thing i had to do when it depleated was eat

SSP test complete with the help of lava for fast depletion got to empty helm and nothing..... still alive...

When the qhelmet is out of power, yes your hunger meter will go down, and if it goes all the way down, then yes you WILL die regardless....
I'm aware of that. My point is, it worked right on SMP for me, not for him on SSP.

i didnt even need to eat.... untill i started moving around
top tip moving reduces hunger.... u gota eat when hunger goes down
