I've found a funny Bug in IC² 1.81, it describes best like that:
YO DAWG, i've put a Tincan in ya Tincan so that you can eat while you eat. 
Well, i can can a filled Foodcan into a Tincan and get a filled Foodcan.

I tested that now and thats true. You can recycle Scrap too.
