I find it useful in order not to spend your time Mining Obsidian
Assuming it cool down Lava, couldn't we make a machine wich turn it into Obsidian (from Cells or Bucket)
Or simply can be dropped from GeoGen after having used the Lava source
Or Use EU ?

I have already an Obsidian-Instaminer in RP, BC and CC (three diffrent ones!). Why i would need one for IC²?
Because you use BlockBreaker or Other.
Would be easier if just got by GeoGen no ? Or maybe you think the GeoGen burn lava ? I think it simply absorb its temperature 
(But I think it's very hard washing your GeoGen containing stone ^^)

At least you don't need to waste 3 diamonds to get that obsidian huh?
The recipe uses 2 water and 2 lava instead of 1 of each for a reason too.
