They look ugly and the locals complain. Look what happens in the UK when anyone trys to build one.
I want ones like this:

I want ones like this:
Those windmills are not designed for energy generation, if i'm not wrong. They provide mechanical energy to process stuff like a tier 0 macerator. Expecially wheat.
My opinion is that the former one (i posted) looks nicer and more "industrial" like.
Metal windmills do not look nicer. They are mearly more practical. We need both.
Two types of windmill :
The wooden-brick one would generate free mechanical energy used for macerators or anything that can use that [MJ]. Tier 0-1
The metal-shiny one would generate electrical energy (as it has a dynamo on its top). I could make a design of a multiblock windmill if someone want. Tier 2-3
Thats why i said in MY OPINION they look nicer.
I like those thoughts. Although MY OPINION is that yours is wrong and shouting opinions is silly.
I don't agree with yours and you don't agree with mine. We are good, just don't force them at each other.
I'm OK with that. Now all we need is to persuade the IC 'team' to add our windmills in!
We can do the following :
Suggestion section and bother greg to suggest that directly to player/thunderdark.
Another note is that windmills may be reworked on IC² exp.
I doubt they'd ever add brick windmills in, just the rework the normal ones. I say we do both to help them along the path to nearly rewriting IC2. It's a good idea after all.
The bricky one would be good, for GT and BC-energy users.
Might try making one using Redpower windmill for sales.
I made my first prototype. Completely pointless for anything other than a bit of Redpower blutricity generation and looking pretty good. The actual IC2 one would be considerably smaller.
Looks pretty similar right?
Post that on GT thread, so ppl can see it.
IC² one could be bigger and that would increase the energy-net.
I wish we could make the multiblock the way we want then the windmill recognizes blocks used to increase overall efficiency.
Being able to scale it up to make it produce more would be cool. Like you can have small windmills or really big ones.

No dont do that, I am already sick of all these pointless Pictures, especially since I don't do any Models. And Windmills like that are denied for GT. Either wait for IC² to add them or keep a certain Addon which adds them.

It is not that you are going to add them, but that you can make Player/Thunderdark (or even yourself if they let you to add stuff to IC²) do so.
Also we want multiblock buildings that actually has a positive impact on the energy generation.

Thunderdark already has them on his List since a while, so its 10000000000% pointless.
That's too much pointless. Who said Thunderdark was going to use brick windmills without our 'help'?

Thanks that you now confirmed that they may be like that, instead of a random rework of windmills, which btw does not generate energy properly since lf 374.
Over 9000 Pointlessness.
Edit : and what chocohead just said above.

I was the one who initially said that there will be a Windmill rework to be using actual Blades, and you were one of the Guys who first replied to it. Do you have the Memory of a broken Hard Drive?
