Is it possible to add a config option to disable uu matter recipes for diamonds and so on? I want only Iridium nothing else.

I don't know why you would want to do this, but if your server is bukkit you could use the disablecraft plugin and RecipeManager

You playing SSP, or SMP? In SSP, just don't use it. In SMP, use config.

I think we should indeed add toggles for all the base ressources (ores, coal, redstone, diamond). I don't think anyone has an issue with people spamming dirt or stone. And trivially UUM is currently the only way to obtain Iridium, shouldn't be an issue, either.

There is a submod of the GregTech-Addon which enables the disabling of UUM-Recipes. The Addon itself ccan do that too, ofcourse.
