Not much I can do. The ladder code has been moved to the entity side (+ a Forge hook) but it assumes you are inside the block for it to work as a ladder.

Should be working. For this reason scaffold blocks are 14x14 pxl
Will need to take a look at it, later on. -
To the OP under what conditions are the scaffolds not climable?
I've just used a fresh minecraft.jar with the latest forge and ic2 and i have no problems climbing scaffolds.

I can confirm this. Can climb scaffold in "singleplayer" worlds, but not in SMP.

Some kind of like flag or something that has to be enabled if I recalled. Its fucked up.

Scaffolds don't work in SMP for me either, but they're fine in SSP. Actually, nothing that moves the player upwards works in SMP. Jetpacks, iron gates, etc. It's pretty lame because those are some of the best features. Love the mod. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

by the way, enabling flight in the server config doesn't fix this.

Just confirming this in v1.106.

I can confirm that the old scaffold collision code did not work due to the same issue that prevents jetpacks from working. Since I fixed it (thanks mistaqur!) I'll revert the current broken one to the old one - should be in the next 1.107 beta build.
