If he updates to the most recent Version, he will get told that fact when starting the first Game, with GregTech installed. Thats because I hate Bugreports like this one.

I thought I disabled all of the changes... I must not have. Where is the tree tap changed? Or should I just delete the items and cheat one in? I will pastebin the config...

I do not believe that config has been added, you should probably (nicely) request that in the GregTech thread

Upon checking the config file further, you could try disabling "ElectricSteelTools=", and see what that does, I personally do not have the time to check it right now.

It disables the Steel in electric Tools, and reverts most Tool Recipes to their normal Values.
