IC2 Gregtech Server [1.6.2]

  • Alright in the meantime I'm going to test the latest version to see if it's fixed and check out Redstone In Motion to see if the latest version actually works and is crash proof. If Galacticraft is really the source and the latest version isn't working/repaired then that's going to be removed for now. RIM will be remained removed until it's refined enough to be pretty much crash proof.


    Redstone in motion is fine with the mods. There is no need to remive it, I tried a whole bunch of stuff in a local server and the crash came only from galacticraftt.

    So I'm assuming from the look of this it's something to do with the IC2's experimental's e net. So I'm going to try to find out the right place to post this.

  • Someone did something that created caused a crash with IC2 cables and stuff... That's rare but possible. I don't think the map will be able to run unless the place with the cables is not chunkloaded/removed or there is a fix in later version of IC2. Please send me a private message so I won't have to search for the thread to look for details if the server is on :D

    WRONG. That looks just like a Galacticraft caused crash. Try updating it and try again.

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

  • Okay guys but I'll have to wait for Male to be back so I can make sure we get that updated and try that and also get that control panel hopefully up and running. To make sure either of us can get the server back up and running and not waiting over 24 hours.. Hopefully he'll be ready to do it soon.

    Is the server's config of Buildcraft different to the Dropbox? I can't go on because ID1504 or somthing like that is missing.

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

  • I just wanna ask... will you be adding Soul Shards &/ Extra Utilities &/ Dartcraft? If you're asking do they work with the mods - yes.

    I'd go with that. FYI, still want compact windmills and Galacticraft back too :)
    Extra trees/bees has a 1.6.2 dev build too, so me want my nice wooden house back :P


    Energy Manipulator is either OP or useless depending on what the config is set too. EE2 ideas were mostly all good, just never properly balanced with other mods. EE2 alone took a long time to get the higher tier stuff, especially in single player.

    and there always the in between where most of the gaps if not all are closed up. While still offering the choice to condense your supplies down. Like say chip in a couple of diamonds for some quartz.

    yeah ... Bloomery to get Iron even before the Bronze Blast Furnace ? And Bronze requiring it as well, but the smaller/cheaper version ^^.

  • I was thinking of smelting ores in furnace to give you 1 nugget, but huh...

    I think disabling every metal smelting and replacing it with Bloomery (made with lots of bricks or hardened clay, consumes tons of Coal) for Iron/Cu/Sn and BF for the rest would be fine :)

    Mixed with 1 nugget per ore....mmmmm sounds good :) Just one problem.. it's still too easy XD Maybe make the 9 nuggets to make 1 tiny pile of some sort of dust? And increase the amount of tiny piles for 1 dust to 9?
