"It's not a bug, it's a feature!"
Third bug/feature: http://bt.industrial-craft.net/view.php?id=1285
I can't help feeling that your bug reporting has upset Thunderdark somewhat http://bt.industrial-craft.net/view.php?id=1287#c3208 -

Clicked see new posts button at the top of the screen and got this. Reloaded the page and everything was fine. There be a disturbance in the force.
EDIT: And now the bug tracker...
EDIT AGAIN: And now going from this post back to the main page. And I can't upload my log for Player. Something is definitely wrong.
EDIT AGAIN AGAIN: Is IC2 getting DDOS'd? Or is it just my end? I've had these errors quite a lot.

I've had a similar issue when trying to connect to the main site several times, I originally thought the forum was down for maintenance.
The issue is similar to one I had for the Digimobs forum and it was believed to be because of firefox. But the difference between that and this is firefox refusing to connect to the site, whereas this looks like the site itself is down and the link was established.
Edit: the wiki also seems to be having some connection issues, including a lack of the actual CSS format.
-
I've found similar connection errors on industrial-craft.net/ and http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Main_Page, which including the forum and bug tracker, are all hosted under industrial-craft.net. It surely must be a host server issue.

Am I the only one who's just realized that the IC1 portion of the forum is now gone?
-
TD has been cleaning up the forum (with imer I guess).

I may or may not have made a mistake with this. If anyone remembers my rant on the R18+ rating and bad parenting, I've used it as a counter argument to this twitter account (@MomsAgainstGam) and posted it to their site. Chances are they'll ignore it, knowing from experience people don't like to be told their wrong, but in the off chance they read it, I'm probably going to get some... negative repercussions from it. Was it the smartest thing I could have done? Probably not, but if I can get at least one of them to see some reason, then it might be worth it.
Its people like these though that truly piss me off, because these are the people who are so obsessed with looking at a issue in a negative light that they themselves become the issue, especially when the solution to the problem is so simple that it would be idiotic not to think of it.
QuoteWe are a group of Moms (and Dads) opposed to the sale and distribution of violent video games and will use all means to stop it.
I doubt any of them has considered not letting their kids play violent video games, because that would be to sensible.
Video game are not babysitters, TV shows are not baby sitters, nor are movies, books, music, the internet or any other form of mass media, and by that same logic: Video game designers and developers, directors of TV shows and movies, writers and song artists ARE NOT TOY MAKERS.
I apologise for posting this here, but if you don't hear from me for longer then usual (seeing as I don't post unless I have something to say), it will be because I'm doing "public relations" dealing with the repercussions of that tweet. I will still be posting reviews though.

Who's this guy? http://jenkins.ic2.player.to/j…ental/613/changes#detail0 Who gave him IC2 to play with?

Please tell me that generator only works at oceans and rivers, please.
-
It does indeed only "work" in those biomes. Not very well, but it works. Why not deep ocean too?
-
Now I got my new Motherboard, CPU, CPU Tower Fan, Windows Installation and whatsoever up and running. Now I don't have a really crappy CPU anymore, and I can finally experience how bad UPlay actually is!
Ohh and in case you're interested the new CPU is an Intel i5 4670s(4 Cores of 3.1Ghz) and the new Motherboard is an Asus Z97-K or something like that.EDIT: Ohh and I lost literally all Minecraft-related files because I suck at backuping. Well, lots of other stuff to, but half of that is in the glorious cloud of GabeN.

It should work in deep ocean too actually. Tidals at deep oceans are actually stronger than in the shore.

While in trial period he added something i suggeted some time ago (and quite a few times in the past), i'm happy with that.
Just a bit of polishing (the kinetic wind/water mills in general need some, regarding balance and mechanics) and its good to go.
