GT5 reliant on the GT6 API
GT5 reliant on the GT6 API
This is only true because SpaceToad could not be trusted to manage any API ever and was bound and determined to destroy MJ's uniqueness and make it into a worse clone of RF. I didn't feel like going along for the ride so me and Railcraft got off the train.
This is actually a bit of a feeling I got last night with EU; MJ and EU have now both suffered the same fate. A creator tried to re-write them, left them damaged, and eventually a new version came along that jettisoned the faltering energy system and adapted to RF.
And more white guys have committed terrorist acts than any other demographic group
*Hiding of all unused ores from NEI (about 3000 entrys removed from NEI, can be reenabled in config).
*Hiding of recycling recipes (should improve search for the correct recipes a lot. About 30k recipes that no longer show in NEI but still work. Also with config).
I mean I do need Money and am happy for every Dollar/Euro I get, but I won't steal it from others, who might need it more than me.
GregoriusT the supervillain doing something not evil? Who are you and what have you done with the real Greg?
I counted them separately because they started for separate reasons, and the second (fourth) one ended with the community saying mDiyo had actually overstepped
I did. I counted the wars. There were four. Fortune Autosmelt Uncrafting, Saw For Planks, TiC-PeaceOfMind, and Pointless Warning Message.
They didn't, mDiyo only unregistered certain classes from the event bus and then put a warning when the game crashed that GT isn't supported.
Pretty sure that was also 3 months later, for the Third War.
Yup, FTB reddit and emblematic modders spitting on "controversial" figures regardless of how valid their point is. Nothing new here.
I woke up this morning after 2 days in bed, saw the threads, complimented Reika, complemented one other guy on a good idea, brought up two examples of how Greg did something similar, and then slapped two idiots across the face. Hello again world.
More likely would be down-transforming and sending a ludicrous number of small packets once every few ticks; over-voltage still blows instantly, it's only over-amperage that's getting bent a bit.
Add build craft, or any other mod that has it's own steam generation. Or you may want to build a large boiler
Buildcraft does not deal with steam. Railcraft is what you're thinking of.
All forms of Steam from all mods (except IndustrialCraft 2) are the same, and can be used by any other mod that uses Steam. (IndustrialCraft 2 Steam is different, but the GT5 Large Heat Exchanger can use it.)
Actually it would more likely have to do with how Treecapitator handles its tools; I remember I was able to get Treecapitator to work with GT axes (and Leaf Cutters), but I had to figure out [read: ask here] what the item name was for GT meta-tools. (It's something like gt.metaitem.01 or some such.)
GregTech Axes treecapitate (vertically) on their own; It's disabled by default, but you can turn it on in GregTech.cfg, B:timber_axe
If you can get Treecapitator working though, =false that config again; don't want anything screwy to happen with both mods trying to do the same thing at the same time
Actually, I've noticed a couple of significant differences from Adventure Mode (at least with GT5, not sure if they've persisted into GT6):
1. Some of the blocks like grass plants and mushrooms that are supposed to be breakable with "anything" in pre-1.8 adventure mode (per http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Adventure/Before_1.8) can't be broken with GT tools like axes/pickaxes, even in survival mode.
2. Some blocks that are supposed to be unbreakable except indirectly (e.g. by explosions) are easily harvestable with GT tools in adventure mode: TNT (in desert temples) and sticky pistons (in jungle temples) can be collected with a GT pickaxe or drill, and a bed can be collected with a GT axe or chainsaw.
#2 was deliberately done by Greg, as he saw the unbreakability of those blocks as a mistake. #1, I feel like there's a few tools that are designed for them (but I don't know what they are on the fly).
Some Gregtech tools cannot break some certain blocks such as sword and pickaxe cannot break gravel or dirt.
No cracking sign and no breaking at all.
Intended behavior. GT tools have a mining speed of 0 on any block that they are not designed to break.
It's like vanilla's Adventure Mode.
