I'd sooner start fresh than carry anything over. Don't bother migrating my .dat if it turns out to be easier to skip it.
If you're just copying and pasting the folder, I can sort my stuff out in the new world.

Are we cheating in creative cells + spatial cells for moving? Interesting.
With PFAA: do you find ores within specific stone types and locations, rather than just randomly anywhere with altitude being the only determinant?
With PFAA + UB is that hypothetical realistic ore placement preserved?
SpwnX piqued my interest when he said, "I want to have to know geology to find ores."
Is UB stone set to 6 hardness or 4? I believe it was 4 on the previous server, but I saw someone say 6 recently. After spending some time at what I think is 6, I vote for 4.
Some thoughts on Geologica VS GT+UB:
GT Ores seem to have more processing paths per ore type, whereas Geologica has many ores (half?) that process one way with no byproducts. This point may not remain true as this portion of both mods is in development, or ore dictionary equities may assign byproducts to more Geo ores.
(Not countng single-oreblock formations) GT ore concentrations allow you to make mines for a specific mineral. It can take a while to find the particular vein you want, but once found, you mine what you need and come back later for hundreds of ore blocks.
Geologica ores seem to be branch mining friendlier, and generate in a sizes more comparable to vanilla veins.
Both are caver friendly, with Geologica allowing you to expect many ore types in a cave system in mid to low quantities, and GT favoring many very low yield ore types and one ore type in vast quantities.
UB looks to be decorator friendly, and Geologica is more realistic.
Anyone know if you can make Geologica ores into bricks, stairs, fences, cobble, and smooth varieties?
There is a system to mining GT ores, I spent last systematically night mapping veins. There are randoms, sure, but there are dependable ranges of some of the randoms; I've managed to find veins in about 50-66% of shafts I dug. I have 6 or 7 earlymid- to latemid-game *large* veins just standing by to be dug up when it looks like they'll be useful. (apatite, grossular/spessartine, tantalite, iron, nickel, coal)
Not that it matters at all if we're constantly getting this server-killing crash. It even makes the server keep saying that there are 3 players on, despite being dead.
Would probably be easier to just do /kill spwnx himself, instead of opping you.
In fact... maybe it's possible to set up command blocks in 1.7 to /kill a player who says the right thing into chat.
So it crashed while I was placing additional Spatial Pylon blocks. I'd want to try to replicate before calling it, but it's possible that wrongly placing pylons in a very specific way crashes it.
The borders of the 16x90x16 space he's trapped in are indestructible invisible blocks. He cannot place blocks against those invisible blocks, so if he were to destroy everything in there, he will not be able to place any more blocks.
It is completely dark except for light sources he places.
We don't know for sure what dimension he would respawn in if he died, but he cannot die anyway, because he cannot access any void or change himself out of creative mode. OP powers would allow him to suicide, or possibly use some other command to change dimensions (Mystcraft has /tpx. Maybe AE has something, too.)
He cannot be rescued from the outside because the storage cell he was in has been destroyed.
I'm getting persistent timeouts right now.
Me and SpwnX near the chunk I stole from the Mesa biome and placed in the Nuclear Wasteland.
He is now trapped inside a storage cell that Mr10 tossed into lava.
Have any of you tried to kill the dragon from HEE? It's... intense...
Don't forget the Forestry electrical engine, which, for a hefty efficiency price, can convert EU to MJ (and produce more than an industrial steam engine) in a single block with the right upgrades.
Assuming AE2 didn't scrap it, there's always the matter gun, which can fire matter for a half-heart per shot (one cobble?) or certain metal nuggets for more.
I found an End Portal with only one Eye in it west of spawn.
Are any not-MIA players using/claiming the 3-block stack of tesseract, world anchor, and advanced miner west of Spawn (and north of that end portal) sitting there inactive?
Since Thaumcraft adds biomes, I expect things will look different in amidst.
I suspect the question will come up at some point: Electro-magic Tools mod?
To settle the question: It has a recipe to transmute U-238 into U-235.
Nope.
It would certainly be OP if all those slots were enchantable gear slots that all applied... but what if all 4 had to be the same to apply one instance of that enchanted effect? That would require enough effort to justify the bonus I think.
The gravity cores only affected player gravity in my test. Entities (including mobs) don't conform at this time. I presume that part is still WIP.
Looking over the page with Google Translate, I assess that StarMiner for 1.7 will be a while in coming.
Google Translate doesn't convert Japanese excessive politeness and apologies to American, though, so I can't tell if the dev actually means that he is barely adequate to fix bugs and update for 1.7, or if he's just selling himself short and will provide amazing things when he gets enough time.
