I know that putting ice into a reactor cools it :). Not sure about the outside though.

Hold the <Ctrl> key when jumping to activate the higher jump. (Same for the legs)
They should automatically reduce fall damage, but I believe if its a REALLY long fall you still take some.

I think Tesla coils can accept MV, can't they?
-
I'll definitely check it out :).
If you get the chance, take a peek at mine -- I'd love some feedback from an experienced LP'er.

I don't believe the shield (Field Generator) exists in 1.0. For the other recipes, I don't remember off the top of my head, but get the Recipe Book Mod -- it shows you ever recipe in-game.

Thanks Al -- I really enjoyed them in IC1, and now they're even MORE fun! My videos so far show Cultivation (My personal favorite) and Chilling (as requested by comments on my first video with them).
Great job
P.S. -- For anyone curious -- Cultivation DOES plant rubber trees. I found 3-4 of them spouting up around the terraformer. It doesn't exclusively plant them, but they are included with all the other forms of plant-life.

Wow thanks man, that does make sense now. I completely misunderstood how cables worked then! I was under the impression that if you tried to send more than 32 eu/s through a copper cable, it would melt! But thats not the case, if you try to send MV through a copper cable it melts, but as long as its hooked up to an LV transformer, you can shove all the juice you want into it.
Awesome.
I will remove my batboxes next episode.

Cool, thanks for the info Iced! I'll look into it, and might make the change. You'll see in Episode 15 I do a little re-wiring, but not for this purpose :).
If I eliminate the BatBoxes, won't the current output from the LV still be 32 though, therefore if those 5 machines are still hooked up to the same LV Transformer, they can't get supplied with enough juice?
I think the only way to fix it would be to move one of my Induction Furnaces to another line (coming out another side of the LV Transformer). Like I said in the LP, its not hurting me (i've never fully run dry) so its not a huge worry :).

Episode 15 of my Lets Play has Terraformers -- I LOVE THEM! They are hugely improved over IC1 in terms of speed.
I hooked up an MFSU and plugged in a fully charged Lapotron crystal, and it started planting things (Cultivation) like CRAZY! It drained that crystal in moments!

You can supply up to 512 EU at once.
Does that mean that more power supplied = faster processing of the terrain? Also -- I remember that in IC1, the snow terraformer was a bit buggy because MC doesn't like snow in the sunlight in non-snow biomes -- is that still an issue?

So the same functionality I presume? I guess it can accept up to MV?
-
Or does it work the same as it used to? I plan to make one soon-ish.

Well, thats kinda the point, theres 2 tiers of the suit. 1 thats just awesome protection (and rechargable), and another thats awesome protection + better stuff.
In my lets Play, I've not even bothered making the T1 version of the suit, but I'm planning to get the T2 soon.

IC1 had 2 versions of armor as well, one that was just damage protection, and one with special abilities.
This is the same thing, just slightly different recipes / names.

Not a bad idea

My lets play covers miners -- Episdoes 6 and 7 -- the link is in the IC2 forum, or just look on youtube for Direwolf20

Also, my portal room doesn't really work, and I (think) I know why -- if the chunk you have your wireless redstone in hasn't loaded yet, it doesn't work. Therefore, I can't remotely activate my portals using wireless redstone if I'm far away (Chunk not loaded) until I manually walk over there.
Do teleporters have this issue? Anyone know?
TF2 teleporter mod doesn't have this problem, but I'd rather use IC2 teleports.
