It's because the window loses focus before the alt key is released, therefore the window doesn't get the key up message. Java should really use a better way of detecting key state changes :p

Who uses scraboxes, anyway? :p I just feed my scrap into my mass fab

Vista was good :p It had a lot of features over XP. XP is basically just Win2K with an ugly skin. Windows 7 is obviously better than Vista though. Many optimisations and new features.

The nano saber works fine if you turn it on. It's just a graphical bug. And the electric jeypack works fine as long as you don't cheat it in.

Sorry, the fix I know of is only for Mac OS. But if I had to guess, the issue might be that you are running Vista. Could be some other fix out there for the Win Vista bug. Best fix, however, would be to upgrade to Win 7 (maybe even downgrading to XP would be a better option.)
Vista >>>>>>>>>> XP as long as your computer is 40 years old

I must be lucky. I've never had a single problem with sound lag OR the enet breaking.

Did you start with a fresh minecraft.jar when you installed build 152?
-
I did everything i needed to do to make the mod work
You're using both modloader and modloaderMP, AND you're using an ancient version of forge. Allllllllll you need is forge. It's right in the installation instructions.

I have Forge 105 working with mDiyo's 4096 fix v4 and all of the IC2 (and addon) IDs between 400 and 500. Try rolling back to 105.

Hi all,
Thanks for replying. Downgrading forge to build 105 did work, although some other mods were incompatible. Never mind about them.
I'm still curious though, why does this error occur when I've followed the 'official' instructions? Perhaps an admin could answer?I'm actually using Forge 135 without a problem >.>

I've had it happen on SMP when I used Railcraft's world anchors to keep my mass fabber/power system running. It's quite annoying to log back in and see that all my advanced machines have run out of energy and cooled down, so I took the world anchors out and just live with less UU matter.
It's never happened to me using teleport tethers. Although I thought they used the same Forge mechanic?

Woops, I didn't mean distance away from the player. I just meant the distance away from the loader block itself. For example, in a 5x5 square, the chunk the loader is actually on could take 8 EU/t. Then the 8 chunks around those chunks could take 10 EU/t each, the next 16 around that could take 14 EU/t each. A chunk that's 3 chunks away from the loader could cost 20 EU/t. This would make it so that you could use a single loader to keep a decent-sized area loaded, but for better efficiency you would want to make more individual loaders, keeping smaller areas loaded.
Edit: Totally awesome picture illustrating cost. On the left side, the loader would be set to load 5x5, or 25 chunks for 312 EU/t. On the right, the four loaders would each be set to 3x3, loading a total of 36 chunks for 352 EU/t, so you have roughly 21.7% savings at the cost of building more loaders.
-
I would like if chunkloader is configurable by a GUI and you select the chunk area you want to load. (1x1, 3x3 , 5x5 ...) and the more chunks you load more it consumes [like 10 EU/t per chunk loaded].
I think the cost should increase the farther away you get from the loader block. If it was linear, people would only have to make one block and just jack up the area covered. If the cost increases the farther out you go, you'd have to decide whether you want to spend more energy on the single loader or spend resources/time on making more.

You know, I've always wondered about this. I have NEVER had this bug happen to me, and I play a lot (it's past day 2000 on my server.) None of my other users have ever noticed this happen either. Is it an SSP-only bug or something?

Using Forge 135 and the q-suit I can jump a block higher than I could before (I know this because I had a bunch of places that a superjump was just high enough to get to. I can now jump one block higher than those.) The run speed also seems to have increased because I can no longer run down my staircase. I go too far forward too fast and hit my head. I'm not complaining, just figured I should give a heads up :p

You put the industrial craft client in your server.

I want to know why does it not work with the recent Forges.
It worked fine for me except when using OptiFine on 125. Forge released a (hacky) update (in 126 I believe) that fixed OptiFine's issues until they update.
