Why not just have a block that powers any redstone attached to it when it is powered by EU.

I know you aren't but I was just saying that those machine of Elo's have problems.

There is a dupe bug with Redstone Torches and the Block Breaker with RedPower2 Pr3. If you put a Redstone Torch on top of the block it breaks, it dupes the torch when it breaks it... Seems as though it's not just confined to redstone torches.

I wish I could help but I was griefed on the ModernCraft server and have nothing left with which to try to reproduce it. Perhaps I will soon have my things refunded and I can help you out more.
Why not try reproduce in SSP using TMI, or make a local test server for you?

#1 mod I've ever used on MC (IC1/2)

Ok so my base has the solar panels described in this topic: http://forum.industrial-craft.…ad&postID=15482#post15482 but as I said, I'm powering my base with Nuclear Reactors and I found the perfect setup for them. I now have 4 of these in the same room, buried in ConstructionFoam and ReinforcedStone with a 4x insulated HV Cable leading to 2 glass fiber cables leading to my MV- s leading to my machines. (You're missing a MVTransformer smiley). This is my setup: (Please tell me what you think) -
I've got a good layout that is cheap and effective. It uses 45 Solar panels, roughly 40 tin cables, 3, 4 or 5 / / , (3,4,5)x * and (3,4,5)x MV Transformer*.
*Depending on your set up

Below: The solar panel setup in the ground
Below: My storage solution. Note: This is TMI'd so if you want to stay cheap, STICK TO THE BATBOX.
The three images below show what this is capable of powering. Although currently I'm running my base from a nuclear reactor, this solar setup is tried and tested. I can have most, if not all machines running on it.
To the right of this final image is the doorway leading to the nuclear reactor, and the wiring area of my base. -
Unfortunately I'm limited to how titanpad does the security, either I can leave it open for everone to both view and change, or i can change it to only people with accounts can view and change it. As much as i wish there was a middle ground option, there isn't one. I've returned it to open for now however I still suggest getting an account in case another person decides to grief it in which case it will get closed again.
Sorry if it took a little longer, I'm assuming you got the account by now?
Yeah, got the account. Thanks!

I've left my request up there for about 3 days now.... still nobody told me about my new account?

Basically like a forcefield/fake forcefield generator...

You mean something like a speedboat? Maybe it should be chargeable at a docking station (say if it get's <num> blocks near the charger block <better name here> then it starts to charge)
-
I wanted to do this since IC1's 8.00 update (forcefields)... I hope this is implemented. (And I hope it isn't invisible.)

II i install OptiFine, the texture of all IC² blocks are messed up. Here's a screenshot:
OptiFine somewhat overwrites a class that MCForge uses, since Forge uses a different texture override than ModLoader, it reads from different texture files. OptiFine must've overwritten the class required to do that. (I mean really. Wheat growing on bedrock?)

I don't think THIS bug should be fixed

Well I am unable to reproduce it either (and I don't know how I did it the first time) but I'm nevertheless unable to open 2 of my safes in a ssp game,
so obviously there must be something wrongMight be helpful if a failed attempt to open a safe would print something like "This safe is locked to player xyz"
Are you able to break this chest? If so, do the contents spill out of it?

So, I've been experimenting with the new electricity system, and noticed a glitch when using the EU-Reader. I'm not exactly sure what caused it..... Screenshots below in spoiler.
