Slag Happens
*low hanging fruit i know...*
i find it interesting the blast furnace is the first machine that consumes the resources during the actual processing stage in IC2E.

building material, meh. obsidian is harder and less work. unless stone wool repairs rotors no use for it either.
on another note, overclockers got expensive.
-
Is basalt supposed to be useless?

you could always backup your save(c/p) just before upgrading ic2 everytime. that way, if you do hear explosions, you can revert, disable power, and bring it up one bank at a time.

um, isn't that just Charcoal?

So i'm going to toss this out there as a conversation fodder, since the Experimental branch seems fairly stable now:
Perhaps IC2E should go back to large releases instead of a multitude of incremental updates.
The next big update i see coming is full functionality returning to the EU system (Read kabloooeey!), and something tells me (java senses) it is going to be buggy before it gets better as all things are.
Once EU is back to full functionality, i imagine the devs are going to play around with other features without committing anything for a while, with a "here's version 1.0 of IC[x]!" Heck, i'd even say IC3 at this point given the difference between IC2 and the current IC2E.
Thoughts?

so i'm liking the new wind turbines. they look great mounted on the side of a building, the internal storage is a big plus, and put out plenty of EU. Main thing is not to let the storage fill and waste energy.
10/10 and i'm only running wood yet. -

i recommend snap-shotting minecraft and your portfolio of mods, in case MS does something
evilstupid and mods go underground or become non-existent. -
THIS...IS...FABULOUS!
-
Tonight ends my hiatus from playing the game
I am coming for your reactor. I will break it. -
...and all mods have to be reviewed for their content. no bugs, no 'unbalanced' mods, no mods that do something another existing mod does, no overlapping resources.
edit: And these everywhere

What a nightmare over here .
Remember...if microsoft buys minecraft, it will be for profit. they will have to come up with some way to get profit from those of us who already have bought the game, even if it is an aside (think "downloadable content" or the realm crap MC has lately.)

i saw this, that is why i am asking.
Is there any difference in how power is generated/transported/attenuates/other requirements, or is it all code on the back end that has changed, and i wouldn't notice unless someone told me?does the little blue line in the conductive pipes still make the machines turn?

As of right now, nothing, because MJ doesn't exist any more.
MJ exists even if it is legacy... please revise your answer.

ELI5: difference between RF and MJ.
-
I legitimately did not know what RF is...but it sounds pleebish.

What is RF?
