Try to Redownload the Modpack.
Its not related to server, because im playing on the server without Problems.
That was the first thing i tried. I deleted it and re-ran the ftb launcher and had it redownload the pack. Nothing

rebooted the server, do you happen to have an error report or something?
java.io.IOException: Received string length longer than maximum allowed (4713>16)
Thats what i was getting this morning, now im getting
java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 14 -
I tried to log onto the server this morning, and i would log in then i would get kicked for a string error. Im not sure how to fix this, but rebooting the server might help.

Greg, in the usual IC mining drill made from refined Iron, but when I turn your mod, in NEI changes the recipe and mining drill made of steel ingot! I tried to do it from iron ingot, but nothing changes! The same problem with chainsaw and others!

Sure, we always welcome newcomers! Its a kinda small community, but right now not many people are on because we are gonna reset the world for 1.4.x and so most people are waiting for that. I saw you registered on the website, and i think that you are the first person to do that before ever logging in XD
About the mods, the pack is going to undergo some changes from 1.2->1.4 so if you like EE, then you have the wrong server because its gonna be removed in 1.4. Mystcraft is being added and a few smaller mods are as well. You can see the full list of mods for the 1.4 modpack on the website, but you probably found that already

lol, i remember when i was a moderator on your tekkit server, then i quit and started my own server with custom modpack instead of tekkit, and now you guys did too! Good luck
