Why do you have an open space between the generator rings?
Maybe he meant as in auto-feeding uran?
*HDs are superior to platings in most cases
*If you're gonna make clocked reactors, you better make many small ones because OP external cooling. You can make a one-chamberer that gives 20 eu/t (clocked to mk.1) at 3.5 eff, and if you consider the lower cost it's about equivalent to a 50 eu/t full reactor
*If you are making a clocked reactor, you might as well state its average eu/t for easier comparison.
Edit: under 8 eu/tick? That's pretty darn low ... Might as well use solars?
W/E, a test and some food later and I'm just laughing at myself
Apparently she's a gal so it's K
But now that I think about is, Al is a dragon
And Spacetoad is ... A frog?
Hope to god he doesn't go to France, I love BC... But I suppose you don't need legs to type ...
Wonder which of the three is most unique?
Edit: Wonder if Al is the guardian of the nazi gold?
Edit2: For everyones information I'm sleep deprived. Cheaper than drugs, not quite as addictive
Edit3: Religion test in half an hour ... Wonder if I can write "god did it" on every question...
Ediit4: Maybe I should study? Mhh... Oh mccrap :pinch:
Edit5: Funny fact, Jesus died to save us from the sins of this gal Eva eating an apple. And a Jew and a Roman had him executed. So shouldn't Christians look *UP* to Jews ... and Italians?
Yeah, inefficient layout
Edit: rule of thumb it to try and fill out all place in the reactor. If you don't need space, use less chambers
EE is not SMP, soo relax and enjoy "noncheat TMI"
less-cheat. Also, thermodynamics does not approve of closed loop matter generation, and might decide you would be more useful as energy than matter
Yeah, since they cheapened the already horribly overused solar panel there's even less reason to use anything else...
There's quite a few floating around, this one links to the original bucket-cooler too
Edit: Lol, it only linked to his profile ... Anyways, it's not like the threads are hidden under a rock...
I need to upgrade my coolant room as it can only supply the ice quickly enough once the engines have warmed up.
With redpower 2 you can automatically cool it with water buckets, which is both free and much simpler than ice while being more effective coolant. There's a thread about it...
With that much uran it'll have very low output, might as well use solar panels
Edit: Because of OP external cooling, believe it's more efficient to make many small reactors on timers. As an example, hooking this reactor to a 1/7 clock will yield 20 eu/tick,and you can make almost 3 at the same cost as a single full reactor. Greater efficiency than a square setup on full reactor, and still mk.1 with the clock
See what you did there ... Again
Anyways, I might as well present an alternative to the breeder. It's a fill-and-forget design, you just load it and only come back once it's done. Horrible bred cells/uran, but who bothers babysitting?
Well damn, I've forgotten the design. Think it was like this:
Definitely worked before at any rate, and it will double your uran with minimal hassle!
Edit2: Tested it, doesn't go much over 9.5k heat unless the random number generator hates you.
Edit: Would prompt supercritical be a nuke?
YOU ADMIT IT! OMGZ!!!1!!one!!
Aaaanyway, just make a poll for the color. Seriously, do it!
That is, AoE teleporter. If it also teleports block I'll totally maker a portable home. Just imagine it, put down a few teleport devices and supply a few tons of lapo crystals *ZIIING* and your house is there
Disclaimer: Trust IE at your own peril
If you have redpower2, you can build these awesome over 9000 (almost) EU reactors. Else, we need more info: You want EU/t or high efficiency?
Looking at the breeding efficiency (bred cells/uran) it doesn't look so good... The best is 8, but that's bitchy and quite micro-intensive.
Teleporters should load their destination on an attempt to travel, and if it doesn't have enough energy nearby it would then check the other end. That way you can have one teleport nexus with a huge powerplant, and simple tellies with no power where you want to go
Actually, you just have to rethink a bit. You can easily do a "flyby" and hit it once or twice each time. Works on creeper packs too, true story bruh
