Just pointing out there is a forge version for 1.8 out now. I am excited to bring all of this energy delight to the new version when it is released. I am excited, all the features and all of the strategy together will be nice.

Not really. 1.8 looks like a slippery hell hole, with some devs not even planning to update. I'd rather see what is and isn't coming before getting excited.

There is? Forge for 1.8 is not news to be honest and we all know that forge 1.8 have a very negative talking about it with many people ignoring it completely, including the modders.

Branch builds of Forge for 1.8 have been available since November 26th 2014 (see http://files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge//1.8), but considering that Minecraft 1.8.1 released two days before that, I'm guessing that many modders are holding out for a build of Forge that supports 1.8.1 or later versions of Minecraft.
