    The mod seems to be working fine with NEI, the engines are showing correctly. There's no "Bug" here - sounds like user error.



    I am using the same versions of NEI, Minecraft, BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft and this mod as MagmaTung is using. Sounds like he's got something installed incorrectly.

    I am missing the 4 engines of this mod.
    it is only showing Petrol Generator and Oil materializer.
    the rest are not showing in NEI.


    small electric Engine
    Medium electric engine
    large electric engine
    industrial electric engine


    all 4 of these engines are missing.


    I have this mod BlockIDs on - 123, 124, and 125 as they where available.


    I installed the mod and minecraft booted up just fine right into the game.
    I logged in the game as usual and went straight into NEI
    to see if everything was running ok and if all items where working or showing in NEI.



    I know this is still in Alpha, just reporting on whats happening on my end.



    *Update 1


    I reinstalled the mod.
    and deleted the old config file, to start fresh again,
    and for some reason in the new .config file it wrote, its only showing this in the block section of the config code..


    Its not self writing the third line on its own.
    for the engine blockID config. as shown here below.

    I will copy the 3rd code tag manually that its suppose to have in the code block line:
    engineBlock=125
    and see if things pop up in NEI or not.


    By the way, the new install made my minecraft go black and then crash out.

    *Update 2


    I manually added the 3rd code line for the engine blockID (engineBlock=125)
    and assigned the block IDs that I have available 123,124, and 125 (which belongs to the engines).


    and Minecraft boots up fine and goes into the game.
    I rechecked NEI, and still no engines to be found.

    I just posted EVIDENCE that these items show up in NEI, including the crafting recipe. Was the picture not clear enough to you?


    If it's not working for you, then something is installed incorrectly. But writing in large bold letters and reposting the same thing from the previous page is simply SPAM.

    Can you post screenshot that the mod shows up in NEI? I feel that you might have installed it wrong. If it shows up in NEI then we can move onto the next step.

    Here it is in NEI..... only 2 items, engines missing......

    No , no blockID errors and no conflicts at all.
    I was able to log in minecraft with no problems,


    its just that some portions of the mod are not showing up in crafting table or NEI,
    and some are which is weird.


    And the Modder said that it was not showing up in NEI and that he knows abut it,
    but he says that they are there in the game.
    as you can see in my pics they are not.

    new computer, all the mods are set except BCIC, its showing up like MagmaTung. I checked the recipes and double checked block conflicts nothing there. Its not showing the third line as well for the block id in the config same as Magmas. It was the last mod installed so there is always a chance something is conflicting but there isn't a obvious sign as to what it is, I mean the game loads and I can see the two but no engines. Im just curious at this point to what it is.

    I had a similar problem.


    The engines don't use an ID to define them anymore, but they remain craftable so long as they load BEFORE Buildcraft. Just make sure it's a Generator you're crafting them with, not an Iron Furnace. Someone has to bug the IC2 artist to change that; it's annoying trying to figure out if I'm looking at an Iron Furnace or a Generator without opening the GUI.

    Ya I was thinking that too,
    and when I tried both, first the Generator and then the furnace they both still dont create.
    I tried it both ways, and I also tried loading the mod before BC as someone mentioned it before as well.
    and still wont work.
    I even tried assigning other free BockIDs I have available instead of 123, 124 and 125.
    still nothing. I even went as far as reinstalling the mod, by taking out the config files and mod from the mod folder, and redownloading it again,
    thinking that the download might of broken the mod. and still nothing.


    and I also agree with you on the GUI.
