rick why do you still let people post here? can't you have it rigged so your the only one who can post in this thread?
I guess he cant, because he must be an Admin to add Stuff into locked Threads. Also there is no option for that.

in that case can we get a licence to flame i wanna go n00b hunting/jk
I find it simply amazing that so many ppl arent reading the title or the first post...or even worse the post above their post...
I dont want to remove everyone from this thread just to stop the nub posts. Most of the designs on the list come from other ppl and sometimes there some nice discusions in this thread
(through thats a pretty long time ago..).
like i said license to flame plz. they are posting like this because there is no consequence for their behavior.
or its the planning tools fault in which case you should migrate all of the designs to screen shots and hope the n00bs never find out about the planning tool
YOU FAILED AGAIN, EVEN I KNOW THAT!!! You are not allowed to add Waterbuckets or Iceblocks into the Scheme, read the RULES BEFORE POSTING.
I know
What are you looking for to help fill out the blank positive breeder section? If I know what you are looking for I can whip something up and help fill some holes.
I had posted a couple hybrid positive breeder/ producer designs. I was hoping these fit the bill, but despite lack of negative feedback they did not get added.
Another I plan on using soon:
Breeder 1: Mark V - Positive Breeder
Heating configuration (with timing): Same config. 22 total minutes, but at 18 minutes switch the cooler cells with the hotter ones near the uranium, or add brief 1s off heat distribution cycles.
Breeder efficiency: 0.89
Efficiency: 3.67
Eu/tick: 330 Eu/t
Effective eu/t: 55.6 Eu/t at 6s on 29s off, 55 Eu/t at 1s on 5s off
Cost: Copper 274, Tin 142, Bronze 119, Iron 212
Credits: Gorzak
Without moving the Uranium I can get to this...
Without moving the Uranium, this reactor does not belong here.
Rules:
-No useless eff 1, low eu/cost etc. I want this list to contain high quality reactors that have been properly designed.
Rick you should add a spoilered "wall of shame" section to the list for the worst designs that people have tried to post here. and add very strong language about how these designs are crap

This is a medium efficiency medium-high EU MK-II reactor that I thought MIGHT be worth having a spot. I'll let others be the judge of that.

I've been trying to get a good six chambered MK I reactor, but that was the closest I could get. It's, ok, I guess, but whether it's worth having a spot is your decision.
trust me they won't be considered and here is why (in a caps just to make it clear)
YOU DIDN'T COMPARE THEM TO THE REACTORS ALREADY ON THE DAMN LIST!!!
making this list is not easy its not something that can be done by playing with the planner for a minutes or even a few hours and if you didn't take the time to check what reactors already made the list then you deserve what ever hate and flame gets sent your way

trumped by this one http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1o10101001501521s1r11r10 (you can build 2 with the same amount of resources)

trumped by this one http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1k10101001501521s1r11r10 (virtually the same but cheaper and faster cool down)
and this one http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…1k101010037ps011111101110 (still cheaper and more efficient)
No need to be so angry. I did f***ing compare them to other reactors. I tried, I fucking TRIED, but I wasn't going to spend the time to look at every single reactor in the entire list to see if any of them beat mine. I looked at a couple and I thought "I'm not confident about this, but I might as well try." HEY, HERE'S A SUGGESTION. Maybe if all you stopped yelling and screaming because a person missed a few reactors that trumped theirs, scaring away prospects, maybe we'd get some better reactors in here. Maybe it would be a better community effort. But all you elitist bastards go all caps and scream and yell and cry at everyone who makes a mistake.
I didn't put all my effort into it because I knew this would happen no matter how hard I tried.
Here, here is what you look like:
Player: Oh hey, I think I could take a stab at this... *makes a reactor*, eh, it's ok, I think it's the best I could come up with. It's worth a shot! *posts*
Elitist: HEY F*** YOU YOU IDIOT DON'T YOU SEE THIS ONE REACTOR ON THE LAST PAGE OF THE FORUM IS BETTER THAN YOURS IN EVERY WAY. YOU ARE F***ING PATHETIC PLEASE LEAVE THIS PLACE.
That's my 2 cents. Take it into consideration.
Consideration noted and thank you for your efforts I apologize for blowing up at the first guy for the last 10+ pages who spent more than 10 minutes designing his reactor/read the first post. But really unless new content is added experimenting with reactors has passed a point of diminishing returns you either need to expend a lot of effort or get lucky. So what is happening is this thread is getting spammed by users who are basically hoping they get lucky. Again I am sorry I let my emotions on the matter get ahead of me.

Um hi everyone!
If anyone is looking for a breeder that charges 4 empty cells and can only be used for a full cycle before cooldown, here is 2 i made!
Hope they help and fill in some spots on the list.
Both designs use only 2 reactor blocks, it can be increased to reduce cooldown but at a cost of recharging 1 to 2 cells.
Using only 1 uranium cell

Might be one of the cheapest breeders out there.

Thats true alot of time and effort went into the current list. As a result of this the designs on the list may very well be the best ones you can make with current components.
Iam going on vacation this friday and i will be gone for 4 weeks. Maybe someone else can take it over from me during that time.

I believe this is the best possible mark 1 setup but i am not sure. I will try to make a better one in the next 20 minutes, if I manage it I will post again,
This took me quite a while as i also tested it to make sure it works.
Started from complete scratch!
materials needed:
13 uranium cells
12 integrated heat dispersers
27 coolant cells
Maximum size nuclear reactor
External enviroment:
20 water blocks
