  • You say that as if Macs are magically immune to viruses and malware.

Yeah, every Mac is immune against Windows targeted Malware and Virusses, since it is not Windows. Apple targeted Malware is btw far more common than Windows targeted Malware, since most Malware is available for iPad and iPhone. Also Malware is nowadays not destroying your things, it just sits there and steals your precious Data, like Passwords, your Location and things.

I mean, how do you even manage to get malware? Seriously, firewall? Antivirus? Isn't it like everyone has one?

  • Anti virus/malware/spyware ect is always playing catchup, newer viruses or virus like programs that have been made after the last update to the anti x software can enter with little to no effort.

Still need help with the issue from my last post...

  • I dunno there you guys are catching viruses/malware. The only 1 i had in last 5 years or so was java script that used my skype to ask my contacts for money thought some hole in chrome. Less porn and warez and chances of getting virus/malware are almost 0.

  • How do you even catch a virus without entering porn sites and downloading manhood enlargement spam emails? I mean seriously, what do you have to do to get a virus now?

  • Well, I will add the OUTOFFUCKINGMEMORY Error to the Q/A...

out of heap space and out of permgen are not the same thing, for some launcher that don't have a feature(through Minecraft Launcher did) or don't know how to customize/add the JVM Argument is simple:upgrade Java to 8(without any update number,or it will broke Forge965).Java 8 removes the permgen so it's no needed to worry about this.
    Out of heap space:
    -Xms
    -Xmx
    -XX:MaxNewSize=
    Out of permgen:
    -XX:PermSize=
    -XX:MaxPermSize=

I have deleted them a long time ago in order to have only important Posts on the first Page. And some of the Posts were not that "nice" or just were Spam.

  • Is the redstone item detector broken in 1.6? Using it on a digital chest, and it doesn't change it's signal when the chest is empty to when it's full. Using latest versions for 1.6

  • Thankyou to the both of you, seeing as this was the first time this has happened with this few aspects to minecraft, Perm gen wasn't the first thing I had thought off. That being said, I thought I sent a different crash report...

EDIT: This is the one I was thinking off (old habbits of going to .minecraft)

Works for me. I've downloaded thousands of files, been on thousands of websites, run hundreds of programs, and never been locked out of my computer or had my info stolen, and meanwhile, my windows-using friend gets 23 virus from just browsing the internet in the first week of using his new computer, while I sit back and laugh my ass off.

Help the Official FTB Wiki reach a billion pages! [I had to keep changing it so there ^^]

Someone should fix the gravel texture in the background. It's been years now, come on people.

I use windows since win95. I never had even aa single virus. It's about common sense, not about operating system, my friend ^^
