After looking at the original code, I found my errors, and after a little bit of tinkering I finally got the engines to take energy items, and use the energy from them. The next step is to make the adjustable engines actually work like they're supposed to.

:\ I'm working on the red flux engines right now, and they keep giving me a class cast exception error. I do know why, I'm not stupid, its just how it appears I don't get. 
I'll try some more, and report results back later if I can...

I got the engine to not crash when rendering, but broke the entire item renderer. I'll fix it later after I go to bed and do stuff... I do have a life you know. :\

That was just a test. I removed the engine actually moving and such, in a fit of rage. I also need to fix some bugs in the conversion. Like, the slot checking is dead, and the CoFH-Core energy never depletes. That needs to get fixed. But, yeah. I'll try to do some more later. I also got the gui to work. I just need to fix the energy bar... I need help with that. I don't understand it at all. :\

Yeah, the energy is supposed to be redstone flux, but I made it blue because I thought it looked cool.
Forgot to do this... I just need to fix a couple more things with it. Like... it not storing energy. I'm not very sure how to fix buildcraft's though so, don't expect me to fix that. Ever. (Unless I magically do fix it.)
which is not storing energy? the Pneumatic generators? if so, they really don't have to. they just need to output the proper EU/t for the input MJ/t.
