I can't seem to change my title from "Crdl Pls" to anything else. I've been told it's supposed to be on the edit profile page, but I can't see it anywhere.

End portals are kinda nice idea. It can substitute my way "everybody has to craft and build his own portal from advanced GT stuff", but that depends on limits (if there will be some) of amount of portals on map (3 are definetly not enough)....so, please include info if your stronghold will be limited somehow (like vanilla ones are), or if they will generate infinitely if given enough space
Will they be a part of worldgen in means of it will generate in same way as ores are (so it will be technically ore vein, but with such a low chance) , or they are independent of them?
I ask this all because I somehow missed [ADDED] Dungeons , only found already [CHANGED], so I miss info

How rare are the strongholds? Are there only a few per world at specific coordinates, or do they spawn one every x number of chunks.

That is because the nerfs were there to enforce some simple Rules and not to make the Game harder. Without those Rules you just have Thermal Expansion all over again.
That's exactly why I pretty much quit the game almost immediately. I guess 1.9 can wait for a bit
Wanted to see what GT in 1.9 would feel like so I downloaded techreborn and opened a 1.9 instance.
...I've found that I don't like tech reborn. I mean the premise is a good idea, but without the nerfs it doesn't really feel like GT.
With iC2 switching to RF, maybe it is time for GregTech to become standalone.
Nothing would actually change for us as players though. GT still has it's own power API, so IC2 changing the power type it uses wouldn't really affect the players in any significant way. It could potentially require many internal changes, but I don't know if that's more work for greg than breaking away from IC2.
Has greg commented on his plans for 1.9? Last I recall he said he would skip 1.8, but 1.9 was still an option. A search didn't pick anything up for 1.9.

Steve's Carts is amazing, but I fear the balance issues it will bring.
I thought Steve's Carts was voted against by majority? It's severely overpowered with respect to every other tech mod, you can bypass so much.
