I took another look at the sight, and I noticed -- it says that the ad revenue generated by this sight is $213 per day. Is there some glut of ads I'm somehow not noticing, or is there something weird going on?
Probably it's calculating the "potential" ad value or something?
If that's really 200/day, I should consider using some advertisment on this page... I mean, seriously... 200 freakin bugs EACH DAY? Oh hell... -

Granted a metric ton of different effects, meant to make the user godlike for 30 seconds, whilst being followed by several debuffs afterwards.
In the end I simply stacked some Tier V buffs with 30 seconds vs a couple Tier III debuffs with 90 seconds.As well included poison and regeneration... I was running around glowing red, taking hits every few ticks whilst regging the health right away

Either the farmland isn't/wasn't close to water or you/something jumped across the crops. Nothing else will turn crop+farmland into dirt

Strg + Z it is then. Or restoring the files via TuneUp Utilities or a similar program ;). In any way I bet the files were not overwritten but just the "link" on the harddrive where to find the data deleted. Thus the complete files will still be readable.
Exception: If you use 4096 bit encryption or similar on your complete harddrive you may have lost any chance to restore them *gg* .FarFar
Be advised that incident happened about one week ago, I just didn't realise it messed up all files up to yesterday.

Issue is I accidentally dragged folders around whilst creating a backup. I assume Windows interpreted the missdrag as a "Hey, let's override the actual story with the week-old backup".

FUCKWINDOWS.I knew I had missclicked somewhere, but I didn't realise it goddamn killed Chapter 5 to 17 with the old version...
Lost the whole rewritten progress up to that point, which is quite the worst thing possible, because it most likely means I have to rewrite everything past Chapter 10 AGAIN (it's impossible to write the same story from scratch twice, means even rewriting the lost chapters will create something different which doesn't fit well with the story continuing from part 18 ).
Means no storys for the next couple of days/weeks until I've managed to fix up the story. AGAIN

I guess I've been so used to things being seed dependent that I immediately assumed. *sigh*
One can bother to use a See-based random or just the default, time-based on. Whilst ore generation is usually former one (given the method gives you a random by itself), any other things in IC are latter as well. Not suprised to see something additional like V/T is done with a random random, as well

If the Chapter II is finished, why do you torture me, only releasing one part per day?Because it gives me a few weeks of free time I can spend on other things, without letting readers down without revealing new parts.

There's still a client and server component, though the client one of 1.3 is much smaller then the 1.2.5, consisting of player control and rendering only (and a few minor parts).
The only advantage for developement is the fact you can fully test "SMP" in a local SSP environment. -

In all honesty, the wiki is meant as a storage place for all sort informations. Like these ones. If your friends are too lazy to click simple images in the wiki (it's not like anything there is hard to find)...
If we would start creating forum threads for every aspect of IC, the forum would be spammed tight within a few days.
