Hey, is there a way to change the recipes for machines back to old ones such as Glass Fibre Cables (only 1 diamond needed vs 4) thanks. PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong section

Use Minetweaker.The devs have decided going in this direction, and they will not be turning back in the forseeable future.

Pretty sure glass fibre is 1 diamond per 1, not 4 diamonds

You need to make energium dust which requires 4 diamonds

4 diamond dust + 5 redstone = 9 energium dust
2 energium dust + other stuff = 1 glass fibre
therefor 4d = 4.5gf or 1 diamond = 1.125 glass fibre -
You can't craft 2 energium dust on its own however, so it still costs 4 diamonds

Sirus, it is ONE Energium Dust + 6 Glass + 2 Silver = 1 Glass Fiber.

That's still how you craft things in Minecraft. A normal iron pickaxe after all costs 3m*1m*1m of iron ore if you use vinilla, but only 2 iron ore if you process it with IC2 and you'd still have left over iron.

I have no mods with silver ore, how can I craft glass fiber now? I't wery strange that I can't craft it with IC2 only, because grass fiber is part of teleport crafting recipe. Maybe you can add alternative recipe for it?
