Tank you for this
It needs some tweaks because right now the only way to store and retrieve fluids is with "automation" but should be good enough for now
So, we finally have IC2 Tanks. xD
But isn't 256 Buckets/Block a bit OP? All other mods' tanks have 16 Buckets/Block, the ones that have more are ridiculously expensive.
I need to add a config option and add another tier that uses the advanced machine casing so there is still a lot of balanced to be made
Version 1.1 Changelog:
-Added a config option for the tank capacity (default is 64)
-The tank now supports the fluid ejector upgrade
Shouldn't be the UI info in SI units (or is this a pure gregtech thing), but nice to see IC is getting tanks.
SI Units? So you want Liters instead of Millibuckets? (1l = 1mB if you didnt know already ^^)
It is always useful to have tanks to store lava, water and other fluids.
or is this a pure gregtech thing
I don't know of any other mod that chooses to use Litres instead of millibuckets, but they'd be quite likely to use 1 millilitre = 1 millibucket rather than the actual conversion if they did.
I'm all for using SI units and i love the fact that gregtech uses them but most people find confusing so it is probably better not to.
Even if that sounds weird but could you mark it as Exp only addon... So that people do not try to use it with IC2 Classic?
Its done speiger. if you feel the addon fits ic2 classic i may also create a version for it.
why would something that is crafted of Machine Blocks, Circuits and Cells need special compat? Does it use too many internals of IC² itself?
Apart from the block class everything uses ic2 core classes (gui, container, tileentity, etc). I wanted upgrade compatibility without coding my own logic. Too lazy for that.
I have nothing against if you want to make a classic thing.
Only thing you need to care about is that you have to make yourself FluidEjector & FluidImport upgrades by yourself... API is there so you can use it.
Note about the forestry thing: Simply it will be automaticly removed after IC2 Classic loads. It will be replaced as soon i find time for it...
I'll see how much it work does it take and decide after. Regarding forestry I have plans and a todo list for a much better implementation which includes a custom farm logic. So hopefully in the near future the kind of limitations the current support has will be overcome.
Ok. Well as long it you respect both sides of Ic2 then i will be fine with that forestry change...
Yeah, I want Litres, In my opinion, those milliBuckest look ugly as sin (probaly because the US using gallons and all its non metric stuff, why they have to split the bucket).
Edit: May be it could be a config toggle, if this is possible and not to much overhead.
New update: Addon is now called industrial utilities.
Changelog:
- tanks now have input slots for fluid containers.
- new machine: Mob Farm (basic and advanced versions) - simulates a mob farm and is especially useful for those who like to play on peaceful.
-new gui textures
