English, or gtfo.
If you respond with the same, poorly typed post, you're failing very, very bad.
Going to use this in my new world. After the last one corrupted. :\

A thousand English teachers cried out in horror and were silenced.
If you would bother to read something you would find the answers to all of those questions. Assuming you can read, the above calls that into question.

Do you mean the last post before yours?
I've been looking into the odd rendering bug that appeared when I installed this addon and I managed to narrow it down to a conflict with Optifine (I was using version HD MT A4) and the petrochem generator block.
When a petrochem block is placed it appears fine until the next "setup Texture" message (from Optifine) appears in the console. After that, the petrochem generator's textures change and all other non-standard blocks (BC engines, RP2 circuits, Forestry machines, etc) that haven't already been loaded into memory will render incorrectly and stay that way until Minecraft is restarted.
Also, placing Forestry's fuel or oil capsules into the generator causes an empty bucket to appear after the generator draws in the liquid. (Normaly they just vanish like IC's tin cells)

I need a punching bag. Villagers are only so amusing.
Indeed - village idiots are far more amusing! Or at least, more useful for sport.

Then the problem is within optifine it would seem.
As for the container, I will probably look at that in some future version, probably after the IB version gets merged just for simplicity's sake.

I would post on the Optifine forum post about this, but I don't know the unique thing that this addon does that causes Optifine to trip up. There's no errors outputed anywhere for me to investigate.
Okies - I'm getting an error with this ad-on to! Same as others have mentioned - the "RegisterGUI error: inventoryType already registered." error.
Problem is:

With this mod everything seems to work fine until I head over to a buildcraft quarry at which point my game crashes out giving me that error in modloader.txt!

So whats with this Gui error? And can it be fixed?
I was assuming I could just change the guiID's in the BCIC2Crossover.cfg file from:
guiIdIndustrialElectricEngine=104
guiIdLargeElectricEngine=103
guiIdMediumElectricEngine=102
guiIdOilMaterializer=105
guiIdPetrochemicalGenerator=100
guiIdSmallElectricEngine=101
to something else. But not knowing what is available I'm unsure...

tried renaming to load 1st. No diffrence.
As an additional - it appears to have corrupted my save file...
I have no removed and replaced each add-on to try and verify which was causing the problem and I no loger can load my original save world.
Loading a new world works fine without the crossover addon but crashes with the guiId error after a few seconds of loading the world and wondering around!
Good job I took a backup of my save world before doing this - only lost a bit of digging time on the buildcraft quarry. Just tested my last backup save to see if thats ok - as long as BCIC2 isn't loaded works fine. Add BCIC2 and it crashes and corrupts???

yes just change the GUI IDs.
Hello Everyone!
Nice mod, thanks! I've started using this one in favour of the powerconverters mod. Actually electric engines make more sense then some sort of magical enery-link.. The engines seem to work fine exept for the large electric engine. I'm not able to craft this one. When i put the parts on the crafting table in the correct order nothing appears on the right side..
Maybe it has something to do with loading sequence but i would think that nothing would work when it not loading correctly.. The mods i'm currenly using are the following:

there is a minor bug with the large electric engines, it uses a regular machine block instead of an advanced.
okay... I tried re-numbering the guiId tags in the .conf file. It didn't help as such! Still crashes my original save file.
I'm thinking my original save file file has become corrupted beyond saving as nothing seems to be helping now.
However I copied over an older save file (backup from a few days ago) and all seems well now?
I don't understand this as nothing is diffrent at all barring inconsiquential diffrences, a plant here, a tree there, a bit of a bigger whole where the buildcraft quarry is a few days behind lol!!!
Ah well - will keep you informed if anything changes...
I was wondering what the math was for 1 bucket of oil to eu (total) as well as fuel (total).
I posted this inthe minecraft.net forums.
maybe someone missed it.
so ill post it here.

Experimental:
IB v0.05 [ALPHA/As Stable As BC 3.x][SSP] Mediafire Link
for MC 1.1, BC 3.1.2, and IC2 1.62/1.64.
I am missing the 4 engines of this mod.
it is only showing Petrol Generator and Oil materializer.
the rest are not showing in NEI.
small electric Engine
Medium electric engine
large electric engine
industrial electric engine
all 4 of these engines are missing.
I have this mod BlockIDs on - 123, 124, and 125 as they where available.
I installed the mod and minecraft booted up just fine right into the game.
I logged in the game as usual and went straight into NEI
to see if everything was running ok and if all items where working or showing in NEI.
I know this is still in Alpha, just reporting on whats happening on my end.
*Update 1
I reinstalled the mod.
and deleted the old config file, to start fresh again,
and for some reason in the new .config file it wrote, its only showing this in the block section of the config code..
Its not self writing the third line on its own.
for the engine blockID config. as shown here below.
#########
# Block #
#########
block {
blockCrossoverGenerator=212
blockOilMaterializer=210
}
########
# Item #
########
.
When In Fact, its "suppose" to show this:
#########
# Block #
#########
block {
blockCrossoverGenerator=123
blockOilMaterializer=124
engineBlock=125
}
########
# Item #
########
I will copy the 3rd code tag manually that its suppose to have in the code block line:
engineBlock=125
and see if things pop up in NEI or not.
By the way, the new install made my minecraft go black and then crash out.
Just letting you know.
*Update 2
I manually added the 3rd code line for the engine blockID (engineBlock=125)
and assigned the block IDs that I have available 123,124, and 125 (which belongs to the engines).
and Minecraft boots up fine and goes into the game.
I rechecked NEI, and still no engines to be found.
