At first, let's speak about temperature:
Some blocks produce heat (like flammes on netherrack, heat solar pannel, lava source) or simply drain it and move anywhere else (like "Exchanging-heat pipe")
This is an energy you could use!
With my idea, if we build a water circuit (or working with some HAYOish liquid metal, like Na or K) the water or the content of these special pipes (exchanging-heat pipes LvL 1 or 2, craftable
like buildcraft one, but using bricks instead of cobble stone for example [LvL 1] or "ceramic ingot" for LvL 2 [you can usethe High-Tech "High temperature furnace" to transform clay dust into ceramic ingot]),
we could use this heat to produce energy! To produce energy from heat, you will need at first an "exchanging-heat pipe" craftable, depending of its level, with 1, 2, 4 or 8 Integrated Heat Dispenser (arround a glass block)
and place this pipe next to a bloc emiting heat, i.e. Lava, flame on netherrack, a special solar pannel or an other EHP (exchanging heat pipe), what permit you to gather circuits into bigger one,
as for collecting EU from different cable. Notice that to transport heat, you must at first build a closed water circuit, with a place where heat is absorbed out of the circuit (an other EHP if you want to
gather more heat into a single one circuit, a steam engine or a machine such as advanced pressurized water reactor) and one where heat is extracted from a block. You only can use one EHP per closed water circuit.
To sum up, that means you can produce energy for bloc emiting bloc but you will need 1 water circuit for 4 bloc emiting heat, that's why to collect heat from
64 bloc, you will need 1 circuit collecting the heat of 4 circuit wich are themselves collecting heat from 4 circuit collecting heat from 4 blocks each one (4*4*4=64).
Using this means to collect heat instead of making 1 steam engine for heat provided by a circuit collecting this one from 4 blocks will advantage you because using a sort of advanced steam engine will allow you to build a easier
EU-system and mainly not to lose 20% energy during the conversion heat-EU with an old steam engine but only 5% !
List of thermal properties of certain blocks:
Thermal surplus (here expressed in °C/tick, cause I'm french ^^)
Flames (on Netherrack, or, for stupid guys, wooden block)
Thermal solar pannel: (Note that this value is greater than that of the flame, as it is much easier to make the flames on the netherrack than the Thermal solar pannel, wich is craftable like a normal solar pannel,
but with 3 cooling cells instead of the generator and the 2 circuits)
100 (Produce heat 10 second before turning into obsidian, because the EHP cool the source, and unofficially, to the lava in this way generates as much as with a Geothermal Generator, even if this one will let you
the obsidian block)
I imagine too that there is a special block wich absorb heat from nuclear reactor. (Placed in the reactor or maybe next to a chamber)
Special kind of bedrock under the volcanoes (about 20 per volcano): 3 ° C
(Volcanoes appear during the map generation with RedPower)
The Reffinery is a new machine allowing you to turn tar or biofuel into different derived.
It exists 2 level of it:
The first one, the coal reffinery, is craftable with 6 blocks of bricks (on the
sides), 1 iron furnace at the bottom, a cauldron (7 iron) in the center and a tank(BC or something looking like the tank) at the top.
Now, introduce 1 coal/wood/etc ... in the bottom slot and tar/biofuel in the upper slot, the tar/biofuel will be turned into something else and will go in one of the 3 right-slots, the best you can obtain at the top of this 3 slots, the worst at the bottom.
1 coal will turn 10 tar/crude biofuel into compounds
Refinery LvL 2 is craftable as follows:
First, make a filter (4 blocks of bricks, 4 iron fence (The fence you can find in Stronghold), a coal dust in the middle)
Make then a distillation vessel (a cauldron in the center, a filter over, 7 tin ingot in the left slots)
Finally, place 6 blocks of bricks one the sides, an induction furnace at the bottom, the distillation vessel in the middle and the "tank" at the top.
The new refinery, much harder to get, will justify this cost for two reasons:-It takes energy instead of coal-It can transform tar/crude biofuel into even more interesting product.

Note that the conversion rate is less advantageous for biofuels, because the method toget created from the water source (detailed in the next post, it is harder to do but unlimited, while the tar is mine and will probably be generated close coal).
The products obtained are either recovered from cells (in the middlefor the slot) or by BC. (provide as many pipes that possible outputs)
Usefulness of the products obtained:The essence is simply more energy than coal and tar (respectively 4000 and 6000 EU), although it has yet value for compatibility BC.Gas is 3 times more energy than gasoline, but requires to produce an advanced generator EU. It is, however, especially to run the High temperature furnace (Lvl 1).Kerosene could be used: In combustion engine, generator (produce a lot of EU, maybe 60 000) or with planes mod.
Hydrogen has an energy value 2 times greater than that of kerosene but IS mainly USEFUL to make the first reaction to launch a thermonuclear fusion central! As you can imagine, it generates a lot of energy (depends on the fusion you run, but at a speed of 2048EU / t, but I will detail later how it works)
The nuclear fusion reactor would have 4 slot: 2 for the reagent to be merged, 1 for cells, and 1 for the product Every phase requires a period of ignition (from 200 till 400 seconds) during which a lot of energy is consumed. The phase of power production comes then.
Start: 200 seconds(=4000 ticks) consuming 512EU/t (at all, 2 000 000 EU)
Need 1 Tritium cell (hydrogen cell [get it when reffining tar or crude biofuel] wich has ever been put in a working nuclear reactor [as with depleted isotope cell]) and 1 deuterium cell (Heavy water cell in the electrolyzer, get heavy water cell by puting hydration cell again in the extractor)
Will give you 1 Liquid Helium cell (maybe useful for Tier IV and supraconductor or cooling ?) and 500 sec with 512 EU/t (as every others phases, they just don't have the same energy consumption at the beginning)
200 sec-1024EU/t at the beginning, the 2 reagent are helium cells
Give you Li (Redstone, but to get redstone you will put it into the compressor, to remove the possibility not to do the first phase)
Consume 2 Li, 200 sec at 2048 EU/t to start, will give you C (as for Li, you can put it in a compressor to get coal dust, or using a lot of it (maybe 36 ?) with 2 craft to get diamond)
Phase 4: 400 sec-2048 EU/t, give you iron dust (and consume 2C)

-Ideas: In this topic I will add the rest, what is not in the other, an evolution of the diamond drill, an evolution of the macerator, some advanced
crafting table working with EU or coal and allowing you to use less ingot when doing 4 or more craft in the same time ...
Of course an evolution of the Quantum Suit and Tier IV Technology, based on supraconductor.
