Anyone else got a problem where the Nuclear Information Reader (T1, and T2) won't read the Counter sensor card? It just returns nil for me.

I have the same problem as gknova6 with information panels, I added a sensor card it in and nothing shows up. Another information panel I had previous to the update is still displaying text but it won't update anymore and if I remove the information panel the text stays in the air. In short, information panels don't work anymore.

gknova6 has a problem with Nuclear Information Reader, which is not a part of the addon (it's from MiscPeripherals).
Problem with stuck informations panels is known, it exists since Information panels added, but it's extremely rare for me. Saw it two or three times and can't track it down.
Replacement of the panel works fine for me to fix bugged panel.
If replacement doesn't help then I need more details. Such as list of mods with versions, Forge version, MC version. -

Not sure whether this has already been suggested or not, but would you consider adding an inventory sensor kit, so if linked to a chest, the information panel could display how many items are in that inventory? Probably not very useful for chests with miscellaneous stuff in them but for storage chests with a bunch of one item type – maybe even with the option to combine several sensor kits like the energy array location card.

I don't know how to make it non-laggy. If everyone will monitor multiple crystal chests then I'll need a tons of iterations. Acceptable for SSP but a wasting of CPU for server. -

Maybe if you would give admins a way (via config) to restrict the usage of inventory monitoring. Could be useful in some places if used responsibly (like e.g. RP2 timers that also cause lag when driven to overkill).

I'm noticing significant FPS drop when using 4 Extractors to feed 1 Capacitor. if i cut the IC2 power to the machines i get my FPS back. going from 120+ to 37 is pretty harsh lol. Just letting you know in case there is some thoughts on the situation.

Could you add an Engine Sensor Kit? Recipe would be Iron Gear (if BC is installed)/Tin Gear (if Forestry or TE is installed)/Gold Ingot (if otherwise), paper and electronic circuit.
It works for all BC-registered engines except Redstone Engine.
It would have the following information:
- Linked Device
- Stored MJ
- Engine Heat
- Engine Output
- Special: Heat gained per second
- Special: Heat lost per second

Personally, I'd love to be able to monitor my Redstone Energy Cells (from Thermal Expansion), but I have no idea what the API for them looks like (if any). If you'd be willing to look into it, it'd really make my day

Epic Lulz, amount of stored energy should be accessible with energy sensor cards. As for specific card for engines, I don't know a good way to do it. I guess mods have slightly different implementations of engines. I don't want to depend of internals of multiple mods.
